Is Alfred Schnittke modern or postmodern music composer? Wikipedia says he is postmodern but I do not get it...

@the5thyorkshireman I wouldn't care about what they say... There is a lot of confusion about postmodernism (in literary studies as well...) and not everybody agrees on that topic... The way he plays with intertextuality (intermusicality?'?) is may be the reason why some would see Schnittke as a postmodern musician, I guess... Again, I don't care less myself about what they say... :-)
