@KatManDude Herp Derp. It's called a cover, not a copypasta nor a mindless regurgitation of the original. This is THEIR take and THEIR interpretation of the song. That being said, I think it loses the basic meaning of the original lyrics, but I still like this version in terms of sound.
lol seriously thats what ive been trying to tell people who watch this video that CCR is the original singers to this song and there alot better then these guys are too. his voice dosent do justice to the song the originals voice did.
I think it's different from Bonnie's and the original. They all have good qualities. But it's such a mighty song you'd have to be pretty bad to make it a fuck up. I like this
Bonnie Tylers version is much better than this... Okey, This band aren't bad to sing, but Bonnies has a much more powerful voice...(sorry but.... That's the true)
to settle the matter it was written by John Fogarty and released by Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1970. This is one of two songs in which Fogarty uses rain as an allegory for the tears created by the Viet Nam War. Who'll Stop the Rain is the other one.
What is missing from this version is pain the lyrics are supposed to evoke. It's not a sweet love song and needs an underlying anger in the delivery.
well actually i think who'll stop the rain was about it raining during woodstock in 1969 because thats what hes said one time when he performed one time
I like this version and whoever said this is the original is trippin for reals. I don't know who sings it but I can remember listening to my mom's "Light Rock" radio station as a kid and hearing Rod Stewart sing this song. lol. Anyways, I like these doods version, it's good.
are u all fucked? This is not even in the same generation as the original. Fucking idiots creedance clearwater rivival sings the original. This is a cover by some nobody band. I don't agree that they ruined this song tho.
The only time this song truly rocks is from the sultry voice of a female vocalist either with an acoustic guitar or a punk-edged electric sound. This is less gay than Rod Steward doing it though, but not very marked as their own pretty packaged in there.
This is a good version of the song, lets be honest you cant go wrong with a bit of Credence :-)

Adequatly done, but no feeling, no commitment. Therefore not art.
Video is unoriginal to put it lightly.
Second thought, of course, I mean, surely these are awesome guys but you know - it's all a crock of shit.
