  • What song is this?

  • @SKeKEDITING 'Little Wing' - as later covered and murdered by Clapton

  • what is the name of this song?

  • i am 10 years old and i listen to Hendrix AC/DC The Eagles Led zeppelin and i don't understand my classmates who listen to Justin Bieaber Hannah Montannah..... this is the shit omg wtf

  • um verdadeiro gênio que até hoje influencia muitos guitarristas,GRANDE JIMI !!

  • Legend!

  • This song is so amazing. It's bittersweet how short it is. :/

  • @EyeRing100 This song is short so that SRV could make a longer cover of it:)

  • for the people who dislikes: look at the dislike bar. Now look at your dick. looks familiar?

  • Why are we Talking about Michael Jackson on here? It should be about Jimi Hendrix, There shouldn't be any racist bullshit either , Jimi just wanted people to listen to his music and be loving to each other. The people with the ignorance these days.

  • Please. I'm smoking and I need to know ASAP

  • @Turpasto little wing

  • What's the name of the song

  • @Turpasto this song is called little wing :)

  • WHAT SONG IS THIS TELL MEE PLEASEEE I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE I DIE

  • @TheTwicey Little Wing

  • he is playing little wing right next to god

  • JESUS defined what good is

  • I love this solo!!!

  • What are you twelve? Who posts half a song for a solo? Find a live solo.

  • maybe not the most difficult to play or fastest solo but to me this song has the most emotion played through his notes.. peace.

  • i think his best was probably the dylan cover of watchtower. not this.

  • although he may be really good...i dont think hes better than van halen...hate me all you want

  • @ChristMinistries4 nobody has ever defined what "good" means, so its just your opinion

  • Well a great piece but in my opinion you can't place Jimi anywhere on favorite anything love it all or your not real Little Wing great fantastic but his best solo is Bold as Love

  • jimi is the real deal............any one close/or better was stevie ray .......not stevie vai ......grasp reality ........he should be compared to al dimeola or something.he is very good.

  • The version recorded in the Royal Albert Hall is 100 times better than this already is.

  • Jawdroppingly insensitive and ignorant that someone has decided it's appropriate to use the n word on a Jimi post and reference Bob Marley in the same comment (I wonder if that person ever read the lyrics to Bob's song War?). Incredulous ignorance and insensitivity. For me personally, Jimi's solo on Are You Experienced on his rare Concerts album is the best I've ever heard. That one is a true mind blower! Still in shock and disbelief at that n word comment on this of all pages.

  • @Kirkswork2010 theres no hope for some people these days, just ignore there ignorance and smoke a fat one. thats my hypothesis. peace.

  • wandrefull

  • you can imitate, but you cannot duplicate

  • What amazes me, and is kind of idiotic, is that some people are like huge fans of michael jackson, hendrix, bob marley ect. etc. but still don`t black people. and it makes me wonder, if you hate black people then why don`t you hate famous black people ?

  • @FishHunt95 oh come on...get out of that hole please...

  • @FishHunt95 black people are alright, its the niggers that i dont like. and please, dont put michael jackson on hendrix and marley's level. very disrespectful

  • @flashflan21

MJ was a dancer, not a musician. I agree he is not on the level that Hendrix and Marley were. He was a good entertainer, but a guest musician (EVH) had more musical skill than him.

  • @TheFORBEZZZ he was also a child molester

  • @flashflan21 go fuck yourself

  • @wesleyinter awww dont be mad he jackson didnt rape your bunghole guy. its not the end of the world. it was only the end of his world

  • @flashflan21 yeah, but the kid who said that he was molested lied. He told the truth after MJ died and said he was forced by his father to lie about it for the money.

  • @wesleyinter and you really believe that? i dont think that story holds water son

  • @flashflan21 If you're going about saying "nigger" you've got some fucking problems, I don't care what race you are. Why can't people just groove to the psychodelic music and shut their ignorant mouths. very direspectful.

  • @faerywitchful1 would you prefer i say "nigga"? you know what they say, right? ignorance is bliss

  • @flashflan21 WOW FishHUNT!!!!!! haters going to hate, not here to Judge but im sure theres a place for you.......There is no such thing as COLOR!!!!!.........One LOVE

  • @flashflan21 Its all opinions though, even though its pretty obvious Hendrix was and still is the most advanced on guitar though

  • @LedZeppelin420x agreed homie

  • Kiko Loureiro is best

  • sucks in my book this ant real rock an if you dont lik whatg i say fuck you

  • @gman360ism Lol then what the fuck is rock to you? Screamo?

  • @gman360ism and you know what real rock is??

  • @gman360ism dude, hendrix was a FUSION guitarist, taking elements of rock in some of his songs. Started out a blues guitarist aswell, never solely rock, idiot -.-

  • :/ this guy isnt good at all

  • Now im gonna have too go and listen to the whole song, one part of it isn't enough !

  • beautiful song and solo. not sure about it being his best solo

  • David Gilmour does better solos! ;) but this one is good too! :D

  • does anyone know wich song is this?

  • @mariovidigueira haha it's called "little wing" on the album "Experience Hendrix"

  • @mariovidigueira Angel

  • @mariovidigueira check the cover of little wing by 'Clapton, crowe, Sanborn' u'll see it was a rich song

  • Great song! ...but his best solo?, impossible!

  • A MAGICIAN MUSICIAN........LOL

  • cancion esta

  • god this song is so fuckin inspirational. i remember when this came out. if there was youtube back then, it would be up there with one of the most watched videos.

  • 25 don't like omfg

  • i think i will take a trip in the near future and go to his grave in Washington state. i should of done it before i moved from Renton Washington. i wonder if jimi is in rock n roll hall of fame in Ohio. i will google it

  • his blues solos are unbelievable

  • @huntersingle This isn't Blues. What made Hendrix great is he had his own Mode. Just as John Barry had a Mode that was exclusively his and immediately identifiable. The mode is synonymous with James Bond, now you see what I mean. Hendrix sounded like no one else.

  • @paullubliner Yes! Hendrix is a one-of-a-kind He created rock to be what it is today... You will never find someone with the personality or guitar skills that this man had. Hendrix is the greatest guitarist of all-time. and no one will ever sound like him.

  • @VaGTaSter69 He created rock to be what it is today?! Bullshit...

  • @YMastersWRC If you listen to many other musicians (of today), they were inspired by him. Ever think of that?

  • @VaGTaSter69 Absolutely agree. "Many" is not "ALL".

  • @YMastersWRC When did I say all?

  • @VaGTaSter69 elvis presley and johnny cash mainly created rock; hendrix just added his own tone to it.

  • @skythani They Created what Rock is , Jimi made what it is today with the adding of distortion and such with the tone. Without him It'd be still just quick songs with short solos.

  • @VaGTaSter69 Interviewer: How is it to be the best guittarist in the world,

Jimi Hendrix : I dont know. ask rory gallagher

  • @7Coreman He did like to joke around with the press if you havent noticed. haha

  • @7Coreman Did U Know That His Favorite Guitarist Was Terry Kath? It's True. Too Bad Terry Died Tragicaly In 1978

  • @VaGTaSter69 ..rock today sucks man

i really hope he didnt create rock to be what it is today

  • @victorkimmy He did, Others just dont have the amazing talent he did.

  • @VaGTaSter69 of all time

  • little wing ftw

  • Check Villanova Junction!

  • The best jimi solo has to be hey joe

  • SEARCH FOR " APEX13

  • This song and angel are a good pair

  • i've heard better from jimi this is good though!

  • he was so cool... too bad he died...

  • too young

  • Why is this the best solo ever?

  • @MrErszenyKrisztian Cause it's Jimi.

  • @MrErszenyKrisztian Not the best solo ever, but the best solo from Jimi Hendrix - in my opinion it's not his best one, though.

  • @zzinzel ..... yeah? I wasn't around then and it still blows my mind every time I hear it

  • jimi is still the best ........

  • This is the best solo? i didn't think it.

  • where the fuck is video...

  • I disagree, what about the solo in Castles, or Hey Joe... I guess we can agree to disagree. :-)

  • I love Hendrix. But check out Roy Buchanan doing some Hendrix. If you haven't heard Roy, you are in for a treat.

  • lame

  • @uryakant919 ikr?

  • @uryakant919 THATS BECAUSE YOU CANT COME CLOSE TO THAT

  • @johnwaynegacy94 go fck your family kiddy

  • as expected...the inevitable god solo from Jimi

  • Jimi has no best solo, everything he played was purely badass, thats a FACT

  • Oh ,by the way, Pink Floyd were on the same gig. This was the Floyd with Syd Barrett. He looked totally spaced out all night. As for my fave Jimi solo, probably Villanova Junction from the Woodstock Live album. But there are so many, like Machine Gun on the Band of Gypsys album or Voodoo Chile(Slight Return) on Electric Ladyland.

  • @pattiern damn that sounds like an epic concert, pink floyd with syd barrret still in it and jimi hendrix. i would give my left testicle to see that

  • @mrjose175 Yeah and it only cost 75p a ticket. Went to see The Who and Traffic at the same place a few months later. The Who were nearly as good as Jimi. Pete smashed a double necked Gibson when they dropped the curtain during My Generation. Been to 100's of concerts since and still go to see the latest bands even though I'm 60. Addicted to music. But never seen anyone as good as Jimi.

  • Yes. Saw Jimi on the 19th November '67at Coventry Theatre. I remember Purple Haze,Wind Crys Mary and he started with Fire. It was one of those package tours popular in the '60s. I was a big Floyd fan at the time, none of my friends wanted to go so I went alone. Also on were The Move, The Nice,Eire Apparent and Amen Corner. When he came on he was wearing big hat with the feather and crushed velvet trousers. You couldn't take your eyes of him. Sounded amazing. Bought all his albums ever since.

  • Una de las mejores canciones de la historia

  • Great solo Redhouse is another brilliant solo

  • He was so hansome

  • Managed to see Jimi live in '67 with the Floyd. Yes, he actually was that good live. Never seen anyone since then who was quite that good and I've seen a lot of bands.

  • @pattiern jealous.......

  • @pattiern no, you were just high

  • @pattiern

    what about nirvana

  • @Numba83thecoletrain *facepalm*...

  • @Numba83thecoletrain *facepalm*...

  • his best solo in my opinion is the outro to Bold as Love. It brings tears to my eyes. There is not a more expressive song

  • Machine Gun from the Band of Gypsys album would get my vote

  • for those of you who weren't around-

You can't imagine how completely mindblowing this was at the time it came out.

    THE INTRO SOLO

NOBODY had ever heard anything like it before

  • @zzinzel I wasn't around back then... But it's still mindblowing! Lot's of people have tried to copy Jimi, some came close, but no one can cry like Hendrix!

  • @zzinzel plz stop your making me so jealous (for real)

  • @zzinzel i agree!

  • @zzinzel I hate you....Lucky bastard

  • @zzinzel those words are way too dangerous, at least for myself.. what u said pierced my heart like little wing's intro blew the shit out of your mind when it came out.. because what u said was what i always imagined and thought that had happened.. but it wasnt a very certain thought until i red your comment bro

  • @zzinzel was? still is and always will be

  • @zzinzel

It's a shame, coz nobody has heard anything like it since.

  • @zzinzel i really wish i knew :(

  • @zzinzel it is amazing indeed but I still prefer the all along the watchtower solo

  • @zzinzel never heard anything since either

  • The song of the fvjwnfo

this song was introduced to slaslik slamone in 2376 he reacalled it as being one of the most humane experinces he ever felt

    long live our alien freind

  • Oh no... this is a BRILLIANT song and this solo is beautiful, but I'm afraid It's not the best...

  • my personal favorite is the studio version of here my train a comin. this is still awesome though.

  • @EvolutionIX219 Stevie Ray did nail this song on the head but the both did. I can't compare the two they are both simply Genious. Peace!

  • you gotta love jimi

  • little wing <3

  • This is my favorite Hendrix song. Stevie Ray Vaughan did a pretty good cover, but it's not as good as this!

  • @viperdude281 Stevie absolutely nailed this song on the head. I love Hendrix don't get me wrong and I gotta give him props for writing such a beautiful melody. But, Stevie took this song to the next level. I have never heard anyone create such beautiful tunes from an instrument like Stevie could.

  • GREATEST GUITARIST THAT EVER LIVED

  • this is a brilliant song but vodoo child has the best intro to a song ever

  • Every time Hendrix picks up a guitar, its the best solo ever.
