how bout the steelers of most recently. they won the super bowl in 2005 and now their on top of the AFC right now goin for another. how bout the pens of last year making it to the stanley cup finals defeating the philthadelphia cryers. but pit and philly have both lost their most recent stanley cup finals to detroit go figure.the pirates suck i'll admit. the eagles were also in a recent super bowl and ended up losing that one and they still have a whopping grand total of zero lombardi trophies.

I would say that the Red Wings are the better team but the Penguins are peaking at the right time. Fleury is playing really great and with the scoring strength of the Pens plus confidence anything can happen. I'm from Philly but now the finals will be interesting. Go Flyers next year.

You have to understand, 23 hours before game one, John Stevens learned of Timonnen's injury: huge impact on all line. Matters got worse with Cobourn's facial injury. Now, the Pens will face a more realistic, healthy Flyers team from round one and two. Game 5 is crucial for Pitt. If they don't close it then, it's going 7. Philly won't lose game 6.
