@MR954LIVE what do you mean? it's just about finding some (old) music that has some good sections or loops. go to a records store that has lots of old vinyl, buy your self a sound card and a record player (you probably already have that as an up and coming producer) and start recording sections to your MPC or computer

I still do not grasp the concept of repackaging familiar music. Is it a quick nut? I fail to see the career longevity for anyone that relies on the hooks of previous hit songs. I listen to a lot of underground rap and rarely hear even a hint of mainstream hacking.
