@k13ren no, the bands don't weigh that much. it's the thickness and sturdiness of the bands that give more resistance. some thick bands can give 100 lbs of resistance... it's not the actual weight of the bands. hope that helps.
@PyroNinjafication I have used a band with a door attachment or with a knot in the band in the crack of a closed door. seems to be fine, but i imagine it could bow a door
I haven't tried it yet but i'm gonna wrap my bands around one of my cross beams in the garage or perhaps a pipe running through the rafters in the garage, you think that's a good idea?
@xquickstrykex in the videos they hang all of they bands from pipes, but i assuming they are reinforced. If i did it I would have a strong band I trust and a reinforced pipe that does not contain water pressure
I just brought lifeline yesterday but i have the handles with the three band holes so when the weight get easy i can just add on. handles were 11$ and the bands vary according to which weight you get. Sports Authority
Yea I used the 60 lb and the 30 lb bad to help with pull up training. Never really got anything from negative or jumping pull ups, but the bands are the ticket. Went from 0 to 7 in 9 weeks of power band training...now I've passed them on to my 18 y/o daughter.
@leegreenP90X Yes I actually just picked up a 90lb band for myself and it's pretty sturdy. My question though is if I dont have stairs or anything, what can I use? I'm afraid to bolt anything to the wall.
Cool I think I'm gonna do that since none of the doors in my house are the right size or set up correctly for the pull up bar i got... ><

Thank you so much! There are definitely alternative workouts that work the same muscles used during pull-ups and this is one of them!

what brand are those, and do the bands actually weigh 80 pounds of something (sorry for my stupidity) the heavier the bands, the harder?
