@killbillyize I agree with you..TNT should have gotten the biggest & most wel deserved push from mercury records... they love their bullshit bands,,that's all
By the way, do you think that TNT ( because of their materil) could fit into power metal?
This made me cry.. That the music industry went from beautiful music like this, to crap like Justin Bieber!
And they say that music from the 80's sucks and that Justin Bieber is the most musically skilled person in the world! One person told me that.... I punched him in the face

@RamsWrath Why the "cough" about STRYPER? They are one awesome band. I saw them last year and actually have most of the Indianapolis show on youtube. It might be under my other account name SPACEMAN_SPIFF2112 I saw Tony Harnell and the Mercury Train at their CD release concert in New York City July 30th. Tony is the best singer ever to hold a microphone in his hand.
@RamsWrath Sorry to sound argumentative. I only meant you should check out my videos of them to show how well Michael Sweet sings live. How the whole band actually plays well live. A trait not seen by many acts these days. You should check Tony
s other projects as well if you are not already familiar with them. WestWorld, MorningWood, and Starbreaker really have some great music. Happy Holidays...:D
@LORTABFEVER stryper toured w tnt in 1991. Tony sings thru a beat up Shure sm57 and holds it 3 feet from his mouth...and still "pins" the input on the mic channel! Balls. Mike Sweet sings thru a Shure sm58 and belts it out! Oddly enough...both bands had the same message...TNT chose to be more sublime.
@Freyja1133 ronnie didn't write the lyrics I was refering to...Tony did. I've heard Tony and Ronnie differed on issues of faith. Ronnie got heavily involved with wizzardry and Wicca amd some other ancient Norweigian religeous stuff. Listen to Your Heart...hmmmm...Invisible Noise? hmmmm.....If only you'd get to the point...it might make it easier to swallow
@Gordfozzfosterer I never said that Ronni letekro wrote the lyrics.... I know that Tony Harnell did Listen to Your Heart? IMHO, it means one should pay attention to their Intuition ,and I think that we should pay heed to what our intuition says...... Invisible noise would be what's in our heads ,not our hearts
@Gordfozzfoster I 'm wondering if Ronni would;ve felt more comfortable with TnT HAving A frontman who is a Heathen.... Listen to your Heart .... how about listening to your heart while you're speaking with your heart?
it all reality ,Listening to your heart is only following what your instinct tells you is right
ANother band REO Speedwagon has a song called folow your heart... which speaks of the same thing that i 've just said
@Gordfozzfoster Gord,I 'm not disputing that fact.... I have niothing against christainity... And I respect those who have it as a faith... at least TH keeps it to himself.... I'm going to check Mercury trains' & ROnni's new material out at a later time....
I wouldn;t want to get marooned on a desert island..as I would die of Hypooglycemia
@Freyja1133 ...unless you can capture a wild pig and perform surgery...remove the pig's pancreas and extract the insulin and inject it into yourself. The Professor on Gilligan's Island could do this...or MacGyver.
@Gordfozzfoster I don;t undestand what has to do with the discussion of the video..besides insulin is one thing that i don;t need( as I have enough of it)
@Freyja1133 n He is also one hell of a nice guy! He is a very private, and religious person. He is very opinionated, and a very intellectual person as well. I am thinking very seriously about going back to New York City next weekend to see him in concert again. I am looking forward to new music from him soon.
Tony teaches vocal and photography in NYC with his mom (his mom's a vocal coach). Tony is an amazing photographer and video director. Tony's lyrics are deep and spiritual. Anyone who has seen the Northern Lights can relate to this. I grew up in northern Quebec. Tony often writes songs about positive thoughts. He builds us up...encourages us. Not bad for a guy who used to compete against and beat Tony Hawkes on a skateboard in the early 80's. California surf champ too!
This tune is one of the songs on Tony’s latest setlist, with his new solo band Mercury Train. NYC metro area fans: check him out at the Rockwood Music Hall, July 30, 2010
Absolutely luv this song ,been tryng to find (remember ) the artist for what seems like an eternity, as the last time I heard this was the night we buried my older brother William & ironically the very last time I hugged my little brother Des.That 's well over 22years ago.Thankyou for te memoir xxx
Cela me fait remonter à une époque très difficile mais un amour infini... Merci à toi Patrick pour me l'avoir dédicacée, à cette époque. Mort d'une overdose, je pense toujours à toi. De là haut, je t'envoie mille baisers.
Shine for the world..Who wrote the lyrics? This is exceptional" for bands in the 80's..It almost reminds me of a ballad that could have been written during "Wizard of oz" or similar to "somewhere over the rainbow"..I picture Dorthy singing this and "Toto" sitting by her side...Ha!
I've always thought Ronnie's guitar playng was superb. He is truly a unique musician. There are alot of "shredders" out there, but Ronnie stands out among them based on his God given talent. It cannot be paralleled.
such a sweet song full of feeling and melody in the voice as well as in the superb guitar solo. one of my top 10 songs, this comming from a hard core thrash metal amateur musician.

"Northern Lights" and "Eddie" are such great ballads by TNT.
They should have been much more known than they are. Listen to
Tony`s voice and phrasing, it`s amazing! And Ronny`s great solos in both
these two ballads!
