I believe this is one of Tori's most thought-provoking songs on her new album, Abnormally Attracted to Sin. In this performance, she appears to be weighed down by something that is on her mind and it shows. I adore it. The piano is so beautiful and wonderful.
She will sometimes write out her set list right before she goes on depending on how she feels that day. Perhaps she was feeling more introverted and I dunno, but I sense a melancholy in her as of late (then again, I could completely wrong).
This is such a beautiful song! It's filled with sorrow, and yet there is hope. I'm not sure why, but it brings tears to my eyes, everytime. Tori is a true genius, she is freaking fabulous!!

what an odd choice to start the show with.
i watched curtain call first.
i think that should have been the opener.
