Of course it did! It's a 300whp ITR v a stock engine Honda with a catalytic converter! The fastest that ITR went is 13 flat...the Civic has gone 12.7 without a cat.
I removed the stock Civic cat and power jumped to 241/218...peak power is around 5800, and drops to redline still. Need the 3" ASAP with some headers...still have stock manifolds :)
j32a2 should pull power all the way to the redline, you should get the 2009 TL's intake manifold. it bolts right up to the j32a2. headers will add a lot of power, and 3 inch exhaust will have u set. get some pullys and spacers for a little more power.
but def look into the 09 TL's intake manifold if u want a little more power
why the fuck you you want back pressure on a J-series engine, this is not a fucking 4 banger. no some facts before you post a stupid comment like that. J-series respond very well when you open them up. you could even run this engine open headers and you wont loose barely any power.
never said you would want it i just said you wouldn't have any calm down pal lets not be an e-thug because we all know that gets you nowhere and you're the one yelling on youtube i think you sir are the one who needs a life
i only speak the truth i could have understood if he just corrected me but to yell and swear trying to be a tough guy on the internet is not necessary
That setup would be badass on the highway and at the drag strip.

That is true, but I like keeping it stock with a AEM V2 exhaust.
bongborin 2 years ago
run open headers, you wont loose power iv been told
pyromonster99 2 years ago
u will because there is no presure
donvitolover182 2 years ago
from what i hear a j32a2 will not loose much power from running open headers
the guy even says "as it falls on its face above 5500 due to exhaust restrictions :P"
j32a2 engines do not like back pressure from what i have been told.
thats why i am getting an atlp exhaust
pyromonster99 2 years ago
that might be true for the v6's. honestly ive never had a chance to mess with them. idk no need to argue tho.
donvitolover182 2 years ago
you wouldnt have any back pressure

That's quite a bend in the stock exhaust to contend with--are there any aftermarket solutions yet or are you going to have to custom fab it?

did you guys open the exhaust yet?
