You should use the directional scanner to see if the belt has people in it before warping... It would really speed up the process of finding a target. Especially considering the hulk's align time.

@reneliiv1 either u was in a low sec system ( if you were it serves you right ) - or the guy who killed u must have insta popped u - Concord wouldve ganked him almost instantly otherwise. If he did insta pop u in high sec he more than likely lost more than u did
im a strict pirate in this game. If i was hunting that retriv and i saw a hulk do that I would have let the retriv live and shattered that hulk to bits from a nice safe distance. And then give the ransom to the retiv pilot just for dealing with that trick.
ya be patient. Its an idiot proof game and a lot of people rage quit the game after a couple weeks cuz its a lot to take in (thats what she said). Different kind of crowd then wow. Make sure you always have skills training and queued up. Join a noob corp so there are people you can mission with and show you the ropes
@LoganHatesChina do the tutorials and read them lol and when you buy a month get in a corporation (guild) that helps alot otherwise apart from that you will learn along the way its a huge and complex game but a corporation a good corporation at that hope you decide to subscribe to the games and fly safe
4. tjeck that modules the ship have bonuses for and fit them :)
And when flying small ships... Speed is the key, speed will make you take less damage so you dont need to tank that much :)

I'm only playing for about one month full time, and my first month part time here and there. It can be a frustrating game to first learn, and it takes some time. Please do the tutorial missions. They will teach you what you need to know, that's a must! If you have any questions, ask in the players chat. Those guys are very helpful too. I Love this game so much now, I opened 3 payee accounts with a forth comming. I love this game man. This game isn't redundant like hack-n-slash games

What the advantage of an Exhumer VS a Barge from a mining point of view? is it just the bigger cargo space and the more hitpoints/resistances? or can it actually mine more than a barge? IE the high end EX VS the high end Barge? which mines more with identical strip miners on board?
Good quality combat drones, friends/corp insystem to guard you, some warp stabalisers. Plenty, but some people just don't bother and are made easy targets

The game is very confusing the first half year i can tell ya. But some simple rules that will keep you alive in missions:
1. Never mix tank... yeah you can tank everything but not very well, specilize.
2. Orbit your target... if you orbit you will decrease dmg taken due to fact the guns might have troble tracking you.
3. Never mix guns... if you mix guns you'll risk fitting weapons wich have diffrent range and only one of them hit well.

oy people that fight in barges have no room to say anything anytime. if you aggro in barge just eject in pod and save everyone time. i did when i first started and realized my mistake. i didnt complain one bit because i was insured and realized the error in my ways. if youre not stupid there isn't much that can hurt you.

they do a 2 week trial if you want for free. each month after that is about 14-15. maybe like 11-13 if you buy in bulk, like a year at a time.

This is not as bad as when someone asked me to help carry their stuff from an asteroid belt to a station... dumbest move anyone can do is to agree to that. I was labeled a thief and killed in less than 30 seconds. Shame on me.
