@kNIGHTWING01 I think batman is purple becouse of graphical design.. it is evening/night so the lightning comes out shining purple from leather armor.. maybe it is just a little too bright purple, but I understand what they were thinking in graphic design. sorry if my english is bad :)

Think of it this way, Gamecube is not last gen anymore, there are only 3 categories. Retro,Last,Current. Wii U comes out this summer, that makes its Next Gen stuff, pushing the Wii to last gen. Get it now? GBA is also Retro, where DS is last gen and 3DS is current gen. See I just blew your mind didn't I?

They have alot of bad games,but at the same time alot of good ones,like Any game system. I have both a PS2 and Gamecube and I like them both. I also have a Wii and DSi. So I'm not an enemy of Modern consoles. I just like the 80's and 90's games and systems better.

Anyone else think that it was odd for the Penguin to have clowns for lackeys in that movie? It's just a minor nitpick, but I remember when I watched it from beginning to end last year, I couldn't help but think things like, "that's better for the Joker." But whaddya gonna do? :)

Clowns are in the Circus. This film had Penguin, raised by the Red Triangle Circus. Though when I was a kid, I thought the same thing you did. Way to many clowns in his little club though.

I never gave batman returns a chance on the genesis luke.I guess i was put off by it looks and i wounder why at the time the genesis couldn't have gotten konami take instead.Still,recently i picked up a genesis again last year and i been thinking i may give the sega-cd version a try.

The controls have been fixed, it won't be the most amazing game you play for the SEGA CD mind you, but after this crap. You will be happy to know, that Batman feels more like Batman. Though he is still kind of slow, his reaction time is better and enemy's aren't over powered anymore. Plus Batmobile parts are fun...just seem endless.

All of my 2007 reviews before the fall of that year, gaming with the kwings, skyward sword LP, and the Let's Plays and have bee adlib. The professional guides and narrations or 1st impression vids also scripted. They were done for GameZone though. Only reason this one sounds more chessy is cause of 2 different personalities. My co-host is more laid back then me, so she sounds like she is just talking to me, where im talking to you all, like on the radio or something

@MsBigB777 This and the Nes game aren't bad, but they aren't in the same class as the Brawler Snes Returns game. That game was just pure beat em up fun! This game on the other hand, is a stroke waiting to happen! Even once you know all the tricks and stage layouts...it's just not worth anyone's time. Batman being wicked too slow, is the final nail in the coffin for many. I have beaten this game without continuing with 1 life remaining, but I had thing of Bayer near by for me.

YNW, since I was younger when I owned a gamecube since the launch, the opening always creeped me out and made me think Master Hand would come out and kill me, so i would always lower the sound and run to the living room with the tv on. Now the cube is in the basement, but it still works nicely. I still think it's creepy!

Don't you agree that the first Batman game for the Genesis is better than this one?

Didn't even know before watching this review that they had similarities like the grapling hook, which IMO, is at least responsive on the first game. It's probably an easier game too, but it's still cool today!

I just can't exceed 26 of this type of vids a year anymore, it's a lot of work. Fun, but still lots of week. Especially when I tackle longer games.

One problem I have is the sound volume. The intro is loud and the narration is much quieter. I suggest you work on the sound level and making it more consistent.

Also, if I find a Sega CD and this game on Sega CD, then I'll pick it up. Otherwise, yeah, I was glad to watch the Batman Returns on the Genesis playthough you did because I know I'd never want to play it in that form ever.

It's only $20, and one of the best looking games on the console. As someone who has been subscribed to you for three and a half years, I believe you'd like the game.
