@guyver93 Medium and light wanzers are faster, especially with agility backpack but Vyzow which we can see here is a heavy type wanzer.

I don't know what everyone's bitching about, I got this game on release day and it was actually really fun on multiplayer even though I was using the starter setups.

You know, what I always liked about the Front mission games was the feeling that these robots actually were tanks on legs, which had to handle a certain weight. I hate it when they move like toys. And now this. If I want fast-paced third person shooters I buy a conventional one. With robots I want slow heavy combat. That´s only my opinion of course. Man, I wish they would make a sequel to robot alchemic drive.

@obiwan544 I know, it looks like mech warrior all over again. The shitty sloppy takes like 5000 bullets to kill you, no tactical fights or anything. One of those stupid games where you have too many bullets or just enough for like 2 kills.

If I pre-order this game from Amazon.com, will I be able to activate this game in Steam?? And Square Enix said if we pre-order the game we will receive 2 exclusive wanzers. How will square enix know if you pre-ordered the game?

About that second question, perhaps they will throw in the box some bonus codes so ppl that pre-ordered FME could download/unlock those two exclusive wanzers.

i hope FME will be available to pre-order on Steam and still be able to get the 2 exclusive wanzers.

i like games installed to steam because "In Non-Steam Game" looks bad if the game is not installed to steam.. hahaha..

The wanzers look good, but really, its not 100% worth it.

The Calm used to be the WEAKEST parts around, and the Rigel (I think) will probably be like Recon Armor- balanced but overused till the game picks up speed.

It's pretty much the vyzov, you can see the resemblance in the body part whenever he uses the melee attack.

Looks like a very skill based game that is still under development. Could have potential and turn out great with the proper funding and developers.

If you like how this game is, look up chromehounds. It was by far my most played game ever, and sega shut it down from lack of players.

@ShadowSindicate Chromehounds is sadly only for consoles well actually it was Xbox360 exclusive and they shut down multiplayer for it already. A pity because there was some real territory control and game had Battletech/Mechwarrior style. But as much as I like Battletech/Mechwarrior I also adore Front Mission and Front Mission Evolved will be released for PC, Ps3 and Xbox360, there will be multiplayer of course.

yeah, but AC4 looks more dynamic and strategic. I mean AC4 is just more "japanese", less realistic. Front Mission isn't like Mecha Anime. And I like mecha anime so AC and Zone of the Enders are games perfect for me ;)

Yeah, but it's a good gundam game. And it is more dynamic. All those boosters and flying stuff makes it more dynamic. And about strategic... ok, I can't say which one is more strategic if one of those isn't out yet. But as I watch this gameplay I thing that in AC4 good parts has more to say in battle than in Front Mission.

But... all this is about to be verified by every one of us when game is released.

@cptmachine ya a shame, but i wouldnt recommended that game. Im a big FM fan but while playing 4 you always get cut off in the story line to do a different story line. Its like in FM 1 or 3 but doing both storylines at the same time. Which meant rebuilding wanzers every other mission for 2 differ groups. Kinda annoying i must say. I forgave SE when they made FM5. Hands down awesome game. Evolved looks legit too.
