@furryudel Nothing wrong with old school, I was rocking the PEQ-2 in 2002-03. No interference at all, especially if you're used to having a front sight in your line of sight when looking through the optic. You can technically see it, but I don't even notice it anymore.
Are you talking about the Aimpoint mount? I'm running the T-1 in a Larue Tactical tall mount. The DBAL not comes with a good mount as well from Laser Devices, instead of using their old shitty ARMS mount.
Come see us at the 2012 Las Vegas Shot Show, if your looking for new Class 1 products, we'll have them there! Like our new (SPIR) High-Power IR Class 1 Long Range (800m) Illuminator! ...Semper fI...
Have you heard about how the dbal lasers are supposed to be mounted as far forward as possible? Does it really matter where they are mounted? How can the mounting position 6 inches back affect it drastically on a 10.5" gun?
@gun1911 The only affect on mounting location would be your hand getting in the way or some splash from the front sight post or head of your white light. Jason Falla has good write about this.
@trenttyre Correct. The naked human eye cannot see IR spectrum light. That's why the high powered IR lasers are more restricted, because you could literally accidentally be shining the Infrared laser in your eye(s), and you wouldn't even detect it (no pain) until after the fact, causing permanent irreversible damage.
Anyways, yeah you need NV to see IR lasers and illuminators. The cool thing about the DBAL-I2 though is that it has a very bright green visible laser that can be used any time.
@MultiSr16 Calm your tits and step back for a second. Of course I read the video description. Now was I asking him where I could buy the model he featured in his video? No, I was asking how he bought his PEQ 15's, which aren't available for civilian sale. Dickwad.
@MultiSr16 Whoa, tone it down a notch, sandy-vag. Sure I bested you with my clever wit but it's certainly no reason to get upset and send me empty threats over youtube, tough guy. First of all, you were wrong to begin with and are wrong again about PEQ 15's being on the market for civilian sale. Anything with an IR laser that powerful is regulated by the fed, and those that are serialized are likely stolen gov't property. If you're going to reply back, write like you've got half a brain. Dickwad
so, no interference with the aimpoint and the DBAL? It looks bigger than the PEQ or PAQ4 (I'm old school) Are you using the 39mm mount?
