I guess you're not a scientist then. Because if you were you would know that that most of modern science has it's entire foundation in Islam. The Arabic (and even some Hindu) mathematicians and astronomers are how Galileo and Kepler even managed to do what they did. Since the end of Rome we had the Christian dark ages. We would have been on the moon a thousand years ago otherwise.

How are you not able to achieve medical, scientific advancements of, say, a country like israel? Could it be your 7th century religion is retarding your countries? One only has to look as far as the USA where the entire country is founded on the brilliant achievements of men like Jefferson and Paine (who were anything but Christian) and how that country is now being completely screwed over by Christians. Even when Christians arrived over to the Americas for the first time they destroyed all of the Aztec and Inca astronomy which was much more advanced than they're own.

Listen, I hate Islam probably as much as you - but maybe for different reasons. And I won't lie about history - which I read a lot of, especially scientific history (as I have a degree in Physics). Trust me, Christianity civilised no one. Nearly every war in old Europe was a holy war.

In terms of wrecking civilisation and retarding humanities advancement, ISLAM IS THE NEW CHRISTIANITY. And Christianity was the new Judaism at its time. It's just had 700+ years to calm down.

Pt.1 I wasn't even talking about the crusades (nothing like the Falklands), I was talking of Christians killing other Christians, but anyway. By the way read your Bible. The Torah is rife with the tribe of Israel killing just about every other tribe in ancient Canaan. At the behest of Yahweh. Where do you think Islam got most of it's horrible ideas? Most of the Qur'an (have you read it?) is directly plagiarised from the Bible. There's even whole lines copied verbatim from the Tanakh.

@MrGilles1990 But I must concede to you, yes there is no New testament of the Qur'an, and there never will be. But how you can argue the NT as a calming force, I do not know. For one it never calmed Christians in the first instance, seeings as Christianity is entirely based off it, and the next century after was still plagued by Christian violence for the next millennia. And Judaism has also calmed down sufficiently without it. And at least there's no jihad.

And it's nice the way modern Christians and Jews follow the Decalogue so profusely, yet ignore all the other legal injunctions from the same Biblical cannon. Don't forget, if you follow the laws of the Old Testament properly, ie. stoning unruly children, covering up women (yes it's in there), murdering whole heretic cities, forcibly circumcising your youths - THEN YOU PRACTICALLY ARE ISLAM. It's a tough pill to swallow, I know. Just remember, glass houses.

Of course Muslims on the whole completely over-react with violence and disgusting acts etc. The point I'm making is that Christians were exactly the same a few centuries ago. Say the Earth goes around the Sun and expect a good roasting for blasphemy. Like a criminal who's dragged into modern society rehabilitated, criticising a younger offender. Glass houses.

You seem to take it like I argued with you to beat on Christians. I didn't even know you were one until you made that stupid remark. I started barking at you because you had your history backwards and didn't understand the implications of your own words.

Continue to fight Islam BY ALL MEANS. But don't fight it with sanctimonious Christendom. We still remember what the world was like when Christians were in control, and what ALL religions have done over time too.
