Interesting how you interpret her statement as saying it is taxpayer funded...she knows it's not and isn't saying that, she's simply saying that they are expensive to the taxpayers. This may be news to you as I'm sure most things are, but Fannie and Freddie both have an implicit federal guarantee and are supported by government subsidies...that's taxpayer money. Do some research next time.

Although created by the government, they haven't been taxpayer funded until now. They has been run by shareholders and executives. Their failure was due to lack of oversight. I don't know what this "too big and too expensive" is all about, and I'm not sure Sarah does, either.

It means each state gets to decide for itself. And it certainly doesn't mean you can't get an abortion 'even if you are raped.' Wake up, people.

I would never vote for someone who thinks that if you get raped you can't get an abortion REGARDLESS of whether there's a possibility of the position becoming law. And there isn't in that case, because its unconstitutional.
However, Roe v. Wade could be overturned because of the age of some members of the Supreme Court.

I actually agree completely, it should be only based on science, which shows a fetus isn't a human. But I'm just filling you in on Obama's response to that criticism. He said theological because the people who criticize him for saying that generally base their opinion of abortion on religion.

I've never been presented with scientific evidence that, I believe, shows or proves that a fetus is not human. I actually think scientific equipment proves the exact opposite.
A fetus is made of human flesh, has human DNA, developing human organs (1st one is a human heart) etc.
That's why some scientists want to use them for experimental research.
I based my opinion on what seems logical to me. It just so happens to coincide with many religious doctrines.

Science does indeed prove a fetus is a human. When 23 female chromosomes unite with 23 male chromosomes and a DNA schedule, it creates human life. It does not create a stalk of broccoli or a poodle.
My brother argued with me that the fetus is dependent on the host mother and therefore should not be counted as an individual with rights.
