  • The kids seemed so nice and respectful back then.

  • she's really pretty!

  • 1955, wow, I wasn't even born yet.

  • @Pegbur And all these people are probably dead now. Time is a bitch for sure...

  • HPOA!

  • @rockyPants4000 sorry to bother, but does HPOA mean??

  • Pure genious comedians nowadays look inferior compared to this legend

  • Just for the sake of comparing: $440 (in 1955) would be worth $3560 in current money (adjusting for inflation).

  • Up until now, I was a fan of RUTGERS .. hah

  • pretty sweet looking girl..... she'd be 75 now lol

  • love the cars

  • OMG, Aldo Ray's brother. Great.

  • Fenneman and Groucho remained friends until Marx died in 1977. On a visit toward the end, the time came to return the frail comedian to his bed.

Fenneman lifted Groucho from his wheelchair, put his arms around his torso and began to shimmy him across the floor. As he did, he could hear a voice rasping in his ear. "Fenneman," Groucho said, "you always were a lousy dancer."

  • "Here is DeSoto's smart double-cockpit instrument panel, with a new flight control lever, convenient, but out of your way because it's used so seldom."

Hilarious pitch! Gee I want one! LoL

  • He was the best! Rickles is pretty good now, but Groucho was the MASTER!

  • Haha, Rickles is the only person I can compare with Groucho, but you're right, Groucho is the master.

  • @450984 Don is the second comedian alive I respect, after of course the one... the only... GROUCHO!

  • His one liners, made this show great.

  • WOW, that's my favorite reality TV reaction yet! lol

  • interesting, when the girl says she's had "many fellows" Groucho dosent quite know how to respond.

  • @jackjude I think he didn't have anything CLEAN to respond ;-D

  • Best game show in the world ... Spontaneously funny with great contestands :))

  • wow..

that guy looks a lot like Forest Gump

  • Wow. Now THAT'S an advertisement. The groucho singing portion is hilarious.

  • This was the period when Groucho was on TV AND radio {Wednesdays, 9pm(et), NBC radio; Thursdays, 8pm(et), NBC-TV- the shows were edited and tailored for both mediums}. This edition originally aired in early 1955. In syndicated reissues, the picture was optically "blown up" to eliminate the sponsor's logo on the back wall, and Groucho's "NBC" mike was slightly blurred.
