Man, did the Angella Taylor doping fan simultaneously log in all of a sudden? Angella Taylor was part of a well-known doping programme, so I don't know why people insist on defending her. Kudos to Ashford, shame on the cheaters from all countries.

One of the greatest 100 meter runners EVER. And underrated to boot. I guess she was unlucky after all since she had to compete against a field of cheaters led by the East Germans and Florence Griffith. And Angella Taylor was also doped to her eyebrows, please, as she herself went on to admit later on.
Angella Tayor developed her static nerve problem in training in the 82 off season training. She didn't perform well in the 83 season (especially after her great 82 season), she was expected to double at the world university games in 83, and should have hope to do better at the world championships in 83. But the static nerve (which is the biggest nerve in the body) problem plauge her for the rest of her career. She injured her left quad badly in her first round heat, here.
Great run by Evleyn here and the rest of the field, except for the Canadian girls I thought AngellaTaylor would be the silver medalist here, but she injured herself in her heat and appartently suffered from a static nerve problem thoughout most of her career. But even Angela Bailey seemed a little off form here, good for Alice Brown and her silver, great sprinting ...
Do you think angela bailey in lane 5 is related to Donovan Bailey also a sprinter from Canada?

@vhickerson I don't believe so, I know Angela was from Coventry, England; and Donevan was from Jamacia.
