I'm going to buy a card for my laptop to replace my Intel integrated. I was looking at this card, which is better an Nvidia gt 220 or this card? People were saying it was this card, but I was just wondering. I won't be doing hard core gaming. L4D, Minecraft maybe a bit of WOW.

i just got this graphics card and when i try to play gta 4 it just lags like crazy, even on the lowest settings, i have 3gb ram and intel pentium 4 cpu 3.06ghz. any clue why this is?

@benleishman GTA 4 is a very poorly optimised game for PC dude, a pentium 4 struggles playing it, i have a AMD Phenom x6 1075T which is 3.2 6 core and even i get fps as low as 20 sometimes

Prototype : maximum graphics w/ 1280x1024 res. = 12-15 FPS (at minimum too lol)

Dead Space: maximum graphics w/ 1280x1024 res. = 35-50 FPS / maximum graphics w/ 800x600 res. = 12-20 FPS

@xLycosax look at gta 4 play it on low play it on high look on the shadows.... on low i would NEWER play the game but on mid its ok. dragon age origens on low is not funny to. best exapmple : oblivion ok its not acctual but... please xD empire total war ; low settings 60 man... :S high settings : 180 man per group: yeah thats it !

@Mrantiemo99 whattahell... Well whatever i got GTA IV. I play on the lowests and this card isnt able i think to run the game on highs..... atleast my pc cant..... its still pretty graphs.

And look at BFBC2 the lowest is HD but still it runs OK-smoothly. and i was stunned by the graphs.

Well, the point is im very used to low and i think its just ok to play on lows.

@xLycosax bad company on low? no way look at the shadows or on the trees on half big maps. i say mids okay but low is not very good. and the grass pumps up very hard. if i could turn off the shadows it would be oky but not so.

Lower end cards such as 4350's and the 9400 all come in gaming PC's. So, I don't think the 4650 would be more POWERFUL than the 9500, rather than just equal.

If you have a low-end CPU or a low amount of RAM it will definitely bottleneck your video card, but a good video card with otherwise average components will give you better gaming performance than a low-end video card with an expensive CPU and RAM. Also, the power supply you need depends on what other parts you have. If you have a fast CPU or a lot of hard drives/optical drives, you will need more power.

@helloimclaudio Also, GTA4 for the PC is a joke. It was incredibly poorly optimized, and there is not even a setting for anti-aliasing. I can barely run it on medium settings with my Radeon HD 5770, so there is no way either the 4650 or 4200 will be able to run it with acceptable framerates.
