I realized that NBA Live 08 is not that good on PS2. Though, NBA 2K8 is better than NBA Live 08 on the PS2. Now, some people might say that NBA 2K8 is better then NBA Live 08 on all systems. Personaly, I see that NBA Live 08 is smooth, but not as good as NBA 2K8. That is why I bought NBA 2K8 for PS2 b/c it is better then NBA Live 08 on the PS2. Plus, I already had NBA Live 07 for XBOX (original) & by looking at this video I see that NBA Live 07 on the XBOX is better then NBA Live 08 on PS2 :p

i have 3 nba games and played them all..live 08, 2k8 and 08..to be honest live 08 is the best of the 3..though it doesnt have that nice graphics and still the rebounding is weird...but i love what they did adding details to the game especially in the dynasty mode...2k8 has a lot of glitches..lots of wierd stuff..they just made the graphics better but not the gameplay...the create player sucks...you cannot add specific details...and how could they dunk in freethrow line even not in fastbreak.???

I have both games and i personnally recomend 2k8. however, live is a great game. Everyone has their own style. I like the dunk contest in live as well as the features. But I love 2k8 graphics, gameplay, and desighn, my only problem with 2k8 is it's features are not as good. In live I hate the freestyle superstars and i hate the fact that you can not intentinally foul. It really frustrates the hell out of you when you're loosing and you want to foul!
