I put this song on, and when that intro played, everyone was like "Oh my GOD!!!! Personally, I think that the "apple" Michael refers to is the fruit of knowledge shown in Genesis and the chorus is our modern generation wondering why people do horrible things and realizing that our sinful nature has been ingrained into us since day one at the Garden of Eden.
