I'm in Barber school and I was wondering if a man came in and wants a relaxer (say maybe his hair is the same length as the guy in this video) and he wants it cut in a Dark Caesar, what would I do to make his hair stay flat down, like the guy in the video? Would Spritz do the job? I had the exact same haircut as his after I put a relaxer in mines but I forgot what the Beautician sprayed in it. Thanks.

This is really good. I remember when I lived in Memphis I had my hair relaxed and the Barber told me that he couldn't cut it relaxed. "It HAD to be nappy." ;/ That's why I don't let people there touch my hair anymore.

I just brush my fro forward, then use gel with wave cap. Then just get a temp fade. But a line up like the ceaser fade. It's gonna look tight!

Hey Al, what do you suggest / or advise I do with my hair (in terms of relaxing, texturizing,shampooing, greasing) before going to the barber, to ensure i get the most out of my cut and so my waves show more radiantly?

Also any greases you use OR suggest to be used to get the most out of my cut that will give my hair a nice shine?

@CoonCid Probobly just wash it out the night before and pick it out with a comb. Dont use any products after you wash it. And that should be good. I mean you CAN relax it if you want. But i think just washing it and combing it out the night before should be good enough. Let the barber do his magic.

Taper means to make something fit. A taper is the line up or faded neck of the cut. The Caesar is the cut. Tapering is just a procedure to produce the cut.
