A Ken Russell masterpiece. I loved it the first time I saw it and hope someone will grow a pair and release the restored version. Sadly now with the death of it's director we'll never get to hear a Ken Russell commentary. Thanks for dragged your feet Warner Brothers (or whomever owns the rights to the film. The late sixties and seventies were the best and most daring time for cinema. Now it's all just audience pandering pablum.
Well-done, you put into a two-and-half-minute video what I've been trying to put into words for weeks. If the other commentators are 1st in line I'll surely be second!
Plz tell me its coming to Criterion and Yes I also be the first to buy. I saw this film in 1981 i WHT a early Cable tv in new york, all i know I was blown away and this film was reales on TV but heavily Edited. I Hope Criterion Get this film. ITS BEYOND CLASSIC

Oliver Reed looks horrible at 2:10! Is that how they punished people back in the day?
