@Folcock The Re-dead's are also in OoT:P But Majora's Mask is the best because it has all those things, and there's so much more mystery in the game than you think if you dig deeper. Man, I've found out so much stuff about that game by studying the details of places like Termina, Stone Tower Temple, Etc. It may just be my over-active imagination but it makes for an interesting story. Plus, I love the BEN thing! xDD

let me explain why this is by far THE BEST ZELDA GAME EVER.

1) You have to fight a friken bird at the beginning ( thats just amazing :D :P)

2) u can sail nearly where ever you want on your boat and visit island and discover new places.

3) it is toon and that just looks way better then the normal graphics

4) The soundtrack is just so amazing and u can listen to it for like 10 hourse ( :D yea thats what i did)

5) zelda is a pirat :P :D

@joey50557 u can get Zelda: Collector's Edition for GameCube - it includes all previous games (Zelda, Zelda II, OoT and Majora's Mask). It's never too late for pure epicness ;).

@urprooruranoob that's not "All". that's just 4 of many titles. they also shared similarities with each other. LoZ and OoT were the first of their systems (NES and N64) and were the start of that particular Link's story, as both LoZ2 and MM were sequels. Both sequels were more mature then the game they followed (LoZ2 had hookers, MM had impending doom and death).

Sound is the most important thing in Zelda games. The sounds made Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask and also Wind Waker beeing somehow better then Twilight Princess. Every Zelda game needs its own atmosphere to be good, so Twilight Princess couldnt persuade me totally.

SS just felt like TP pt 2.... bland graphics (WW wasn't photo-realistic, but it was gorgeous!), derpy dialog, BORING-ass music....and, idk, but the control scheme felt....forced. I just wish the Zelda team of old would put together another truly awesome title. The only half-way memorable tune was the flying theme, which seemed like they ripped it straight out of a Mario Galaxy game : /

@migduh I suppose your right, but Skyward Sword was given like a 10/10 or a 9.5, if anything Skyward Sword is as good as Ocaraina of Time. With out Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask you wouldn't have the Wind Waker, and with out the Wind Waker we wouldn't have Twilight Prncess. Without Skyward Sword we would not have discovered what made the Legend of Zelda series a legend. No matter what game your prefer over the other, we all have to agree, the Legend of Zelda series is one of the most

As for tying in with the other games, just think about it for a second. The tighter Nintendo ties it to the other titles, the less wiggle room they have to make a new game and where they can put it on their time line. They at least connected a few little points if you pay attention and look carefully.
