  • This is not a quiche ... It's almost acceptable the feeling but quiche is made in the oven and has to have a crust (pie like) ... This is not even a different way to make a quick quiche, 'cause what you just made in this video was basically a frittata. You should change the name of the video.

  • This looks sooooo good!! I'm a sucker for a good quiche. I have a great recipe for an Impossible Quiche which looks very similar, in that it makes its own crust. Love it.

  • 1st of i think that 40min is waaay to long for this 2 i had to keep rotating mines so it wouldnt get burnt but it came out pretty tasty and i used bacon bits instead of sliced ham :)

  • in italy we call this "FRITTATA"...... the quiche is with a "sfoglia" under the compost

  • @Bebydols i'm italian, but in italy the "frittata" is only with eggs, parmigiano cheese, pepper and potatos that are at first fried a little bit, this is the classic frittata, and also there is onions frittata, with peas and red peppers, but the classic frittata is with potatos, this is the background of a frittata (beacause the eggs) with the condiment for a quiche! ;)

  • Well i just tried this for supper. I liked! I especially appreciated not having to get the dough. So easy! I made the vegetarian version. SInce i have only recently become a vegetarian seeing bacon in a pan still makes my mouth water. You are making it hard for me!!

  • @julaai If you do one like this, which is basically an egg cake (Sorry, Nicko), you can just make it in the pan.

    Cook on medium heat, and cover with a lid. After a few minutes, it should be solid enough for you to turn the whole shabang around and slide it from the lid back into the pan to bake it from the other side.

  • that's cheddar cheese ? I am from america so they may put orange color to our cheddar cheese lol. I always call bell peepers capsicum's now just to mess with the people at the store also.     OMG, that reminds me when I was in the Sates I had lunch in this place called IHOP. I ordered a turkey sandwich that had cheese on it, the cheese was this fluorescent orange goop that tasted just as artificial as it looked. Disgusting the plastic cheese that they give you in the USA. Real cheese does not glow in the dark and it does not come out of a spray can.
