omg i used that jerome russell bleach b4 it leaves yellowy brassy tones even tho i done my hair a total of 5times..now i use indola professional from hair and beauty suppliers i bleached it once it was yellow twice whitish with yellow tones and 3rd time lucky its white! hairs destroyed of course!

anyone who is thinking of dying hair lighter blonde i recomend just getting a full head of bleach blonde highlights instead of buying a bleach set becoz it wont work itl just make your hair go ginger!

you would have to dye it two times then if it comes out orange..idk how lond to wait after you dye it the first time though =[

depends on how blond you want to go. blue is the opposite of orange, which makes me think you started at a dark level to begin with. if you want a one step prosses, use a blue base color(light ash brown) if you want to go lighter, you'll have to bleach first. your hair will turn yellow. then use a violet base color(xtrapale ash blond). go to a beauty supply store and ask because ash is different at different levels, choose wisely, or you might end up green:( best to have it done.

you need to use toner to bring out the yellow from the hair...the hair going yellow is basically the base colour being stripped off..so you need to use toner! not bleaching it 2 times! that's fucking crazy! your hair will fall out!

the bleach i use is Jerome Russell B-Blonde. I only leave it on for about 15 mins so it doesn't really dry my hair out much.

but if it's dyed dark, then you can't because it will just turn out orange.

it will be a process, but yes you can...by all means you wont be platinum...but pleaseeee go to a salon for the best results...when people do it at home, they dont know how to control the orange because they dont have the proper tools and you will hate your hair
