Facts and figures always lie. These are all rough estimates. CNN's viewership is in consistent decline. Fox and MSNBC are the only two that are climbing. TV Week reports that: "Compared with last year, Fox News rose 24%, CNN declined 10% and MSNBC was up 22%.". Hardly in the gutter.

This simply proves that sensationalist, entertainment-driven news networks are more popular than reliable journalistic ones.
