Percheron by the looks of it. Draft horses ARE big - that's why they call them 'heavy horses'. he looks to be about 21 hh possibly more but I think the guy leading him is not that tall.

The confirmation looks like a Percheron to me, they are just as capable of being huge! I had an 18.2 hh Percheron TB cross!

Also, if it's a shire, they'd never be showing it because it has NO FEATHERS!!! If that horse is a shire, he'd never win a competition, thus, you wouldn't see it on a fair ground like that!

If the horse's tail gets caught, it could result in the tail getting ripped off or the horse panicking and possibly flipping the cart over. Although some tail docking is done for fashion, it is usually for practical reasons.

Be careful of these type of horses, they are mainly for heavy farm work. Back in the day before humans made tractors and trains, everything would be used by Clydesdale/Adonis...
