    But those people who lost, they probably will not maintain it, as science has shown this. you can hel the non - obese person, but a person with true morbid obesity- that is a disease state.

    But your advice is generally good for staying at the lower end of our set point. And maintaning and increasing mucle is very important as we age. Kudos for recommending lifting.

  • I tried to go the cheap dollar store route by buying a grill and bungee cords to get the abs at 0:05. It didn't work; I guess you really have to by an abdominal insertion grid and trans oblique tightening bands to get those abs!

  • The only thing people could possibly learn from a diet, is eating smaller (or rather appropriate) portions and somewhat of an insight in choosing healthier food. Something which you can learn just as easily from free websites.

    It's sad how some people are duped into believing everything they see or hear. I work out daily, which makes any and all result a personal victory regardless of how 'slow' progress may be. Take pride in what you accomplish over time rather than looking for the easy way.

    I think a lot of that is because people make a 'diet' or weight loss more difficult than it actually is.

    You eat calories (energy/heat units) to support your level of activity. Thats it...done... Sure you have to find out a baseline to start from and what sensitivities you might have to tweak nutrients, but its simple.

    Look throughout history and you see sects that earned their food werent fa't. They had to work for their food. They ate to live, not lived to eat.

  • @kormilec I'm not Scooby, obviously, but I would like to try and answer our question. Firstly, try decreasing the weight a tiny bit any doing more reps. Aim to do 8 reps to failure. Do 3 sets of these each lat workout. Also, rather than just once a week, try working on your lats twice a week - at least until you can start to see progress again.

    Protein doesn't turn into amino acids, it is already.Your stomach enzymes break the chemical bonds or chains down into essential and non-essential. Nature builds it and our bodies break it down for our specific usages. Thats the major problem with processed food.

    I get aggravated by the 'lactose intolerant'. They are actually lactase deficient, but never say it that way. No one wants to admit they are deficient in any way, even if its just enzyme production. HA

    But i was soo stupid, ive been bodybuilding the last year and a bit, and i realize how ignorant i was. There is no legal and healthy shortcut it takes time! Everything scooby says is completely correct and he is such a genuine and smart guy, i dont think anyone should doubt a thing he says.

    I go through massive amounts of pain 5 days a week to get the body i want, and i feel sometimes i go barely anywhere with such work. But i do get bigger.

  • Please do note also to make abs visible on specific body types you have to lose ALOT of fat and to say this right now; go to your doctor and figure out your minimum amount of fat % before you do try to go for those "6" pack abs.. it can be dangerous have bad % under your requirement. That being said.. for best results... careful how much you consume, try to eat often and healthy. DO NOT COUNT REPS.. do it until it hurts and then count because thats when it really counts. Pain is temporary.
