Hey Man. I know I am a bit late, but I hope you haven't given up. If you are still having trouble hit me up and I will send you my e-mail address. That way I can try to answer some of the questions you have. Many many people have a hard time with food, because they feel like it is what got them into the problem in the first place. So they overobsess over it. But it is not the enemy.
Also, fish is about the best protein you can take in , in my opinion, that way you get omega faty acids. Canadian bacon is another good way to eat healty bacon. As far as the veggies go, get a juicer, and put 60 or 70 percent fruit and only 40 or 30 percent veggies in so you cant taste them, the veggies are huge! grow to love them. Avoid white bread, pasta, tortillas, all those kind of carbs. Sorry to just rush you with info, now you have a chance to ask me specific questions. Thanks! JayDee
hey bro, first thing I noticed you said was how sore you are. tone it down a little bit and work your way up. Take L - Glutamine to fight the pain and help recover better. Just take whey protein rather than casien protein, Sounds like you like meat, I was making a whole bunch of sausage in the morning and then rationing it out into several containers. Try to eat a small meal every 3 hours rather than only 3 meals in a day.
Those marathon bars are really good. The protein shakes are pretty good, u can add alil fruit to it. Turkey bacon is really good also. That's good that u really want to wk on ur diet, that's what's really gonna count the most.
I agree with Authentici3eauty. I did a video a few months back on my Power 90/P90x nutrition. I personally eat a lot of chicken breast / turkey breast (sometimes as a sandwich), eggs, broccoli, lots of water, some healthy choice meals (but I'm trying to learn how to cook so I can make better meals), soybean burgers (took a little getting used to, but I add spicy mustard and it's pretty decent), mixed veggies, and some fish here and there. Definitely need the recovery drink, WHEY is ok..
@khalilguinn ..but I prefer the P90x recovery drink now. But when I was doing Power 90, I used Golds Gym WHEY or whatever, and it did the job. I also don't do the recipes out of P90x, but use the portions as a guide.
i called my local GNC and the lady said she didnt see it there. I'ma go and look for myself and if it's not there I guess I'll have to order it. It just hate waiting for stuff in the mail. Specially since I work out 6 days out of the week.
Couldn't brush your hair, huh?! You're too funny lol. Eat what you want in moderation because eventually you will want to get off your diet and eat what you crave so if you like burgers eat it with maybe no mayo and wheat bread instead. Just modify the foods you love. The protein shakes are good, also- you'll see that it helps you build your muscle. (WHEY is a good brand)
