guys i really need some help, this games is frustrating the hell out of me, i am adverage at defence but absolutely shocking at offence could any one help me out here, i have tried a few play call moves with the left bumper, but still cant get anything going.

@TheKallum6 if you play a big man, setting a lot of screens will get you a better rating and if you let the guard attack the basket you most likely will be wide open for a shot. with a guard, you can pass it to another player, let him attack the basket and pull in defenders, leaving you open for treys. or use a screen yourself and get some mid range shots. that's what i started with, and once you start finding your groove you'll be doing post ups and iso moves in no time

If you tap L1, you can choose the player who you want the pick from.
