Its not im hating Ferrri but if you want to se how really fast can your computer reboot you need to turn it off cmpletely not just restart...... restarting is faster than a complete shutdown... but nice biuld out ther....
@jimvuraot04 Yes, I know what you mean. If you listen closely I said "reboot". I was showing how fast it turns off and turns back on. Which isn't all that fast mind you lol! 8 phase power design. But yes, there is definitely a difference.
Its because that motherboard has a 8 phase power design, (everything comes on in stages) so it boots a little slow, but gives clean stable power(good for the motherboard/system) When I first built this computer, I was coming from an extremely slow computer and I thought that was fast lol.
Hey.. nice pc built.... i have the cosmos S case, asus p6t deluxe v2, 6gb corsair xms3 ram @1666mhz, core i7 920 D0 stepping @ 3.5ghz with only 1.13V :p and noctua NH-U12P..... Best processor from intel ever!! But worse windows ever from microsoft :p... windows vista x64,,,, The 64bit gaming support is killing me!!!!
the fan on the cpu cooler looks nice is it from revoltec dark grey with white leds?? im thinking of buying some fans for my antec 1200 to replace the stock fans
I don't game, so I don't need anything too special. The only reason I went with even a 9600GT is because of the small amount of video editing I do. Typical, if this was for Gaming, a GTX260 or better would be in order for sure!
I didn't think of it when I made the video, but that motherboard has an 8 phase power design so it goes through that then starts to boot. Also, I later went into the BIOS and disabled the two screens you see before the Operating System selection comes up. It boots a little faster now, but the phase design slows it compared to other boards
Dude that's awesome, a nice build and I'm very impressed with the cabling management in that case. If there's one thing that takes me the longest in any new build I make, it's the cabling... I think you'd qualify to work for me ;)
Cabling definitely took the longest. I'd say it took as long to do that as it did to bench test it and actually install the mobo(everything) into the case.

awesome build bro..
nice job there, but still a 9600 aith i7? wierd combo there ^^
i'd sujest u to pick another fnless 9600 and put them in sli.
rubin180 2 years ago
I don't really game, the 9600 is basically for light video editing. A GTX260 would be in order at a minimum if I was a gamer.
Ferrari0321 2 years ago
Also, the computer was built to be silent, so I didn't want any card with a fan. That surely limits your options... lol
Ferrari0321 2 years ago
Nice computer. But you could do better on that video card.
