do more than one coat, let dry atleast 1 hour between coats, let cure for a day.

Not a bad tutorial, you should use a disc/belt sander instead of the table saw/grinder, it's a lot safer/easier to work with. Btw I make Homewood Fingerboards, in case you didn't know :)

Thanks, great tut. Since I don't have a beltsander or bandsaw, I'm going to cut out the veneer in the shape I want it, but a little bit bigger so I can sand it. And the techdeck thing looks nice for a mold, since the shape is my preference. not size though.

nice, i have a similar method of making them. except I use a sanding piece in a drill press and use that to make the precise shape. takes a while but easier than a bandsaw in my opinion. nice though.
