Not really, adrenaline takes over and you don't feel the pain at the time, unless he was injured as opposed to just swollen and hurt. Maybe by the time he's in the box but his hands would be hurting but I guarantee you Belak was in fine shape during that fight, otherwise he wouldn't have initiated it.
