There's a few facts that are more suggestive than it sounds, especially the technical studies one. In degrees of science and engineering, basic skills are still needed, like Calculus, so there will never be irreverent skills taught in college that will be "outdated" in three years.

It means that a zombie virus will be invented soon and all technology will be useless because of the lack of power. This will cause humanity to fall without electronic devices we have no way to get water, food, and to communication.
