never saw anything like this even once in my 3 months of india... and i was taking trains every 2 days. the cities have more people, so yes, it is more crowded... if you have to take the train, you do it. if you don't want to deal with any of the subsequent BS, then don't take it. nobody is forcing you. i slept on floors next to the bathrooms sometimes because i was on the waiting list. oh well.

You've first got to know what they're doing it for before saying those cops r crazy. Those people are getting into a unreserved compartment, what that means is, the spaces inside are a free for all. So when a train arrives and even before it stops, people try to get in it and there's complete chaos. So the police make people go in a queue. That guy was queue jumping and was thought a lesson.

@bklynAtrain Yeah, early i asked one of the these cops for directions and he was all chummy and nice ( I have a Canadian accent), I walk away and see him beat the shit out of these people!
