@ Rosadecerca: I don't agree. I think by the end of the movie, by the time she marries him, she really got to know him and she truelly loves him. I don't believe you have to fall head over heels in love with someone the first time you meet him to really love him. A true love can also grow in time.

Marianne is the most suffered character, poor girl, even the end of the story is not happy for her, getting marry with that old man he didn´t love, that´s sad.
