Why couldn't Ford make that? sunroof and T-tops are GM designs, why can't ford do that?

I agree, they need to bring back is the boss 351 and the boss 429 options. The boss 351 is technically the same platform as the 302 but it would add another good option for this car. Just rethink the wheel combination.

The BOSS consistently traps 2-3 mph faster than a GT in the 1/4-mile, which indicates a 20-30 RWHP difference. The BOSS cylinder heads & cams also react much better to modifications & boost.
Only problem with this car, the only one, is the stupid striping and those wheels, which look like plastic. This car, in silver, without all the striping and lettering, with Boss LC rims in silver, would be perfect.

Basically, a Ferrari has .5 liters less displacement, and yet produces 120 more horsepower. Going off of METALLICAROCKER's stated numbers, this means that the ford produces about 88 horsepower per liter; where as the Ferrari produces about 125 Horsepower per liter. This is saying that Ferrari uses a smaller engine and yet, produces 37 more horsepower per liter.

Boss 302 is for 302 cubic inches which equals almost 5.0 liters (4.94 to be exact)... So it is really Boss 5.0. Boss uses the same engine but has several different engine modifications to produce more horse power but have less torque.

Boss 302 is for 302 cubic inches which equals almost 5.0 liters (4.94 to be exact)... So it is really Boss 5.0. Boss uses the same engine but has several different engine modifications to produce more horse power but have less torque.

Oh wait, that has 2 turbo chargers..and costs, once again, 100k+. The only remotley close engine I can think of off hand is the $65k bmwM3 with 414 hp out of 4.0 liters. Which is no where close to the $40,999 base boss 302 price.
