hey man i actually think they are pretty cool looking cars too i am getting ready to buy one it is a stick shift and it gets like 40 mpg i think they are an all around good car
Nice to see that you take good care of that car. Makes it a lot more special than all those expensive cars on the road that people sell as soon as they encounter one problem. Also your car makes my cavalier look like a Rolls Royce (no offense, and in your defense yours is in better shape than mine.)
Like I tell people sometimes, Any car can last a long time just have to give them proper maintenance and fix the flaws as they show up.
Hehe, the metro was never a cool looking car or a sporty car, its an economic car from suzuki. if you look at it at the right angle at the front it almost looks like an 80's hatch back.
while making the video i suddenly forgot what TBI meant and went with single point injection.
it is a real fuel injector just not a MPI or DI which is better than SPI.
DI is kind of like what the diesel engines use. an injector right on the cylinder except its gas and its injected as it intakes and needs a spark pluck for ignition. diesels injects at compression and with the heat of compression it auto ignites the fuel. glow plugs are just to heat up the cylinder at start up.
Is that Martin Luther King Drive? I'm from Puerto Rico, but have family over there in the Ribicoff Building. Anyway, keep up the good work on maintaining that Metro, have a similar one, but Suzuki Swift in PR.
i try to do what i can to keep it alive. when i heard that roar & rattle i thought the engine was falling apart. everything is working how it should again.
also now that u mention it wasa vacuum line making that noise it was probably the evaporater line that re-burns the gas fumes. its a pump so it sounds like knocking when its off
my old 93 chevy van 5.7 was on 10w30 its entire life never leaked smoked or anything but one day on a cold start with only 41k the motor died i dont know why neither but i gave up on fixin it. i still have my dads 88 Ford E-250 and thats got 385k
i was depressed about it and it was both headgaskets and intake gasket. i turned it off at the gas station when i wish i didnt since it wasnt warmed up fully. and never started again. i was broke at the time. but my dad e-250 with 385k never failed me although its sat since 2000 since gas prices. but it will return now! only 1.51 a gallon now!
5w30 is ok if you engine doesn't leak or smoke since its a thinner oil but it also wont bog down the lil 3cyl. i use 20w50 in my sebring which is thick but if i dont use 20w50 i wil put 10w50 with lucas.
i get blinded by these new cars at night and its actually road legal but when they flash me if im going too slow i have fog lights under my rear bumper i blind those bitches...but i replaced my older lights with these blue 4200k lights and i see every pebble on the road.
so i should put 10w30 oil in it or 5 w30? where do i find 5 w 30?

the manual on an older 3.1 chevy v6 also says 5w30 also but no 3.1 will last with 5w30 they need 10w40 minimum with lucas to go beyond 100k
