  • surely strange legends

  • da dada da da... da dada da da...

  • La puesta en escena de las Valkyrias, convierte a esta obra en algo cómico. Como diría Hannibal Lecter "hay gente que no merece vivir". Espero que retiren este video criminal por ofensivo. Es de ¡pésimo gusto!

  • The Big Bang Theory: Quest song! :D

  • Sorry, but I can't help but think of French & Saunders at the start.

  • Esta idea de walkyrias borrachas haría revolverse en la tumba al propio Wagner. La ejecución musical es impecable pero el tema del botellón en este tercer acto produce asco.

  • It's awful and fantastic at the same time ain't the Wagner I know , but is amazing .

  • I'm no Wagnerian expert but, as a 48 year old Opera student and singer I find this production refreshing, interesting and very well done! The constrasts between the crazy happy and morbid sisters and brunhilde is amazing and helpful to understand the drama soon to unfold.

  • Hotoyohoooooooo! Hotoyohoooooooooo! Heyaha!Heyaha! J'adore cet opéra et simplement cette musique!

  • where are the choppers? ;-)

  • @dakloki lol, back in Nam.

  • The first brunette singer is the most sexy woman I've ever seen.........

  • @blkirish88 Ylva is an awesome singer

  • ahhhh! l'horreur!!!

  • All though I find this production a detestable confusion of music, theme, costume, and setting, there are some elements of this scene and the way it was recorded that I find intriguing. I really wish they weren't drinking and looting, but I do like the idea of the bodies. I also like the overall design and the way everything comes together visually. The jump shots and close-ups add interest. And, I really can't complain about the music, either. Not too bad a concept here in the end, I guess.

  • This scene is so magical and exciting when acted with the voice-- but some director wants to make it a "girls gone wild slumber party" with dead soldier blow up dolls and "dead soldiers" as in empty bottles. Big yawn-- it makes it flip and trivial instead of exciting. I'd still like to be more impressed by the SINGING!!!!! than the fact that the stage has a turn-table. I believe it's called a "Schreifest!" The ride of the Valkyries isn't a sorority party. Do they molt later in the opera?

  • I think it's fantastic. Edgy, but not tacky. Dark, but not shocking. Creative and honestly interesting. It works for me.

  • It's unfortunate that directors claim that these new productions are to bring in a new audience, yet I'm in the new audience and I find it pushing me away. Of course, when I say such a thing they'll tell me I'm a conservative snob. I don't know how a 24 year old student can be a snob. The directors only have themselves to blame for the lost audience.

  • @Jaydoggy531

"I don't know how a 24 year old student can be a snob." Really? Better do a bit more studying, then.

Anyway: the clip. Magnificent singing and imaginatively staged. Wagner might have hated it or he might have loved it. Great stuff.

  • che stronzata pazzesca...le bottiglie di champagne :|

  • these Valkyries should have been blond, not dark haired by no means! it's the Nibelungs that should be darkhaired instead! ...wtf the producers of the opera did mean to say by this???!!!

  • DIVINE DIVINE DIVINE!!! I never thought I'd laugh out loud at the Valkyries and still find them soooooooooo perfect! The blood drenched hem on the gowns - perfect!

  • D'oh! It stopped!

  • Valkyries as party girl angels of death??? Hmmm... not sure this works for me despite the good singing...
