@pimbilibom Your method produces Xerogels, true aerogel involves supercritical drying. But your method is still interesting. And it seems cheaper and easier.
@rbneville see Aerogel step 3. My aerogels are made of TEOS and supercritically dryed.

@pimbilibom Hey, have you heard about SEAgel? I hear its super simple to make. Basically you take gelled agar and dry it supercritically.
