I didn´t post lies, I simply posted the whole truth.
First some slaves freed themselves, but most parts remained under french control and the slaves remained slaves. Then came the Revolution in France, and the slaves were freed and worked as paid workers.
Toussaint L´Ouverture was a french General in Haiti then.
But the blacks weren´t pleased with their situation as workers and french citicens and killed all the whites, their former owners, and declared independence.
