I am proud to be a UA Pipefitter. I would like to see America become 100% percent unionized in the near future. We need to find a way to do this. This will allow American workers to always have a voice, something that just does not happen with company workers these days! Sincerely, Brother Ken
I'm looking to become a plumber and was interested in the opinions of the members of local 463,Oshawa Ontario. Is it really a good union? How is the training, working conditions stuff like that. Thanks
I had worked for the union as a perment welder, at the age of 17, and when i started i almost had completed all my hours to become a journeymen, and when the shut down finished with good terms, I had when to the hall to get on the books as a member and i was turn away cuz of my age, three years later I had the chance again now, I am 23 and I am a journeymen member
Hey Good video..... I have 500 hours towards my first year of Pipefitting and passed all tests, Any direction you can offer??.... I am from the Ontario, Canada. I don't get work through my Local... Where is the most work?? Willing to move to get my tickets
you dont have to be related to someone to get into the union get into an aprentice role and you will get in and if you already have tickets you will get in
DrZarkloff...buddy, you need to be shot....the best of the best are union workers. Im telling you, we get a bad rap, because of 5 percent of our work force. 95 percent of the guys I meet come to work every single day and work thier asses off to do thier job and make sure clients buy union labour. We are a great source of quality tradesmen. Look at CNRL, how many Flint and Ledcor fuck ups have we went in and fixed??....yeah, its uncountable. Be union, be strong! Pride, Quality, Productivity!

Then why do you have to be related to someone to get into the union? It's the union's own damn fault.
