  • The Music Man guitars are the most beautiful of all.

  • face on the wall 6:07

  • I really like that guitar, would also be nice in blue!

  • im really thinking about getting this. does the floyd float or is it flush against the body. i hate floating floyds.

  • @anthony0803 It's flush against the body - perfect, no stupid floating trem. I've had this guitar for over 10 years and I love it. Never a tuning problem. Great tone.

  • Early "carnations" - tee hee. You play good though.

  • This guy is a machine, not human!!! Not one off note

  • this guy sounds like wwe's wade barrett!

  • what was the ebmm / eddie model called , wasn't the wolfgang till peavey took over right?

  • I find regular axis have cooler and more natural sound then the superspot...I simply loveee it

  • Is it just me or does it look tiny?

  • Jamie is such a demon. Killer tone!

  • which is that song at the end?

  • Why is this guitar some much more expensive that OLP versions?

  • Do you think it would be possible to rout a cavity out so you could pull up on the Floyd?

  • how does the floyd sit on that thing? Is it flat against the wood or floating? does it stay in tune relativly well? and can you pull back?

  • very expensive? why,i DON'T KNOW

  • Never heard this guitar before this demo. Decent demo -- would have liked to have seen some more clean sound -- but probably not it's strong suit.

  • Great clean tone + neck pick up screaming = Great Guitar

  • g-g-g-get a gibson bow-a-wow

  • @LosLurvos Gibson is not the best barnd of guitars

  • @Backspacer12 You're kidding, right?

  • @salutetheflag NO! They are just expensive guitars with poor quality woods, I'm talking about Les Pauls, the only Gibson i recomend because of my experience is the sg, the explorer is also a good guitar but again is expensive with poor quality woods.

  • @Backspacer12 thats for every man to decide (not women)

  • @LosLurvos Now I can see why you buy Gibsons LOL

  • @Backspacer12 yeaaaah,, no one likes women right? :P

  • the track at the end was released years ago in a guitarist magazine heavy metal special. the track is for van halen :)

  • It sounds he's playing a jam based around Light Up The Sky.

  • who gives 2 shits about clean sounds. CRANK THAT BABY UP!

  • he doesnt sound in tune

  • the start sounds like somebody get me a doctor then its goes into judgement day :P

  • 4:43 win !

  • very nice video,i liked it very much, thank you

  • im gonna pay 1600 and get one

  • @mossberg451 You are not alone brother

  • Whats better: Axis supersport or regular???

  • @DieVideoproduzenten

axis regular has a floyd rose and sport hhas a regular strat bridge... pricess, i dunno.

  • Interestingly, the neck shape is a computer analyzed version of Eddie's original 5150 Kramer neck which he used from 1985 till 1990 or so. It's pretty much legend that Eddie always had that guitar strapped on and practiced obsessively so that neck shape is the result of Eddie's constant playing of the Kramer. When he first went to EBMM, they fixed the 5150 and stuck "Music Man" on the headstock, covering the Kramer logo.

  • great van halen-ish stile!

  • where is it made san luis obisbo or watever or their plant in indonesia

  • @Sk8bordr125 EBMM is always made in USA. Sterling is the name of the cheapo line, imported.

  • Very nice guitar (great playing too by the way), but wish that it had a tone knob and that it came in more colors. The quilted transgreen and transpurple that used to be available on the Axis were absolutely gorgeous. The transblue they now offer is almost hidious (YUCK)...while the transblue offered for the Musicman Sterling AX-40 is much more appealing.

  • I just bought a sterling by Musicman Axis, it plays and sounds just as good as the real deal! so its not built in USA, its inspected and setup here. Only $550 from musicians friend, and 12 sets of strings free!

  • The song is indeed a piece written in the style of Van Halen from the 'Guitarist Book of Heavy Metal' (as in the UK magazine 'Guitarist'). Jamie plays the Yngwie style piece from the same book at the end of his review of the Musicman Petrucci (I think).

    Chufty badge please.

  • Lol! What agreat guitarist! AND guitar!

  • is this any better than the EVH wolfgang

  • @Speededchroy it's definitely better than the peavey based wolfgang, considering the 1500 dollar price difference i'd easily choose the musicman. Honestly, i went in and played an axis a little bit ago at my local shop and the neck on it is just... beyond words. I'm a pure les paul player and i'm getting that guitar in the next couple months.

  • @Speededchroy Just listen to the Van Halen Balance album and then to Van Halen III so that's the difference. Ed made a mistake by leaving Music Man i think.

I never liked the Peavey Wolfgang tone.

  • I guess this is one of the best guitars of the 21st century. Excellent demonstration.

  • thats not the supersport. That's the axis.

  • what song is it at 5:42?

  • @slashsgibsonlespaul somebody get me a doctor intro, but he switches to what sounds like you got another thing comin. I guess he's legally required not to play real riffs

  • What are the two racks behind him on top of the amp? Anyone know? Great tone

  • @khalilhab Line6 Studio Modeller - Echo Pro and Mod Pro

  • whats the effects processor he is using the ones placed on top of the blackstar???

  • Can any1 tell me is this the best guitar for the evh brown sound or is the wolfgang better

  • @bailey32121 The Wolfgang Is Better!!!

  • song at end is a Van Halen Study Piece written by Jamie Humphries

  • Does anybody know what song he is playing from 5:40 till the end?

  • @DaanJM i know i'm dying to find out what song that is :/, you found out yet? :P

  • @slashsgibsonlespaul As Jamie said, it's a piece 'in the style of', and the most obvious guess is Eddie Van Halen. Probably written by Jamie.

  • Great Sound!!! how much would it cost?!! is it much different than the sterling ax40?

  • Jaime Humphries always gets a great sound

    Love the new video

    John Denner

  • how does he get this tone

  • @12345678ix It's just a nice distortion, with a MXR Phaser effect (a effect Eddie used a lot) It just kinda sweetens the sound :)

  • @MYCHEMICALHAMSTERS no its not buddy look on top of the amp thatsnot a phase 90 thats a multi effects proccesor ;)

  • Still a good video and he really has a great tone

I actually got his Eddie ERuption video dvd

    Great Guitar Lessons

    ROCK ON

  • This is regular Axis, not supersport!

  • indeed

  • @Tubachin whats the main difference between the supser sport and regular?

  • @crow66693

SS has a tone control and a 5 way pick up selector. The Axis has only a volume control and 3 way selector. You can also order the SS with rosewood or maple fretboard , Axis is only maple. There are some other little differences, but those are the major ones.

  • @Tubachin

we'll i know i'd rather prefer a floyd rose than a normal bridge... -.- and it costs over 2000 anyway, so why take supersport?

  • this isnt supersport... or its custom made ?
