What you have to look for is a boxer with tight jowls. You may want to purchase a book on boxers - they help you look for what in the puppy when picking one out (i.e. tight jowls, the way they're built, personality, etc)

Can i make a suggestion? It's only a friendly thing, from owner to owner. Boxers have collapsable tracheas, and a rope like that can cause a collapse it if he pulls too hard. My friend, a dog trainer, suggested I get a harness for each of my two girls, and it works great. You can even get harnesses that make him incapable of pulling.
