  • If we had the America our forefathers planned, our government wouldn't be owned by an oligarchy of corporate goons. Instead, we could come on YouTube and listen to people on the record, such as this brave guy from my home state of alabama. Naturally, since he's honest, articulate, well educated, moral and black, he won't be elected governor of my birth state, Alabama

  • ...Tanner got his ass kicked like an extra point. Straight through the uprights.

  • Wow, Artur Davis really didn't let that man weasel his way out of answering his questions honestly and truthfully. What he said, and what he thinks are based upon stereotypes, and policy-makers should be among the MOST knowledgeable of these easily found statistics/information. Especially in the state of Alabama, we need a governor who has fresh ideas for a state in dire need of reform in so many areas, namely education.

  • Black people in politics don't have to play the race card. The only thing blacks have to do is wake up everyday to a system where the hand is already dealt. It is only when indiscretions are exposed by them, that white folk and others like them always want to claim the race the card is being played. Stop blatantly saying & doing thing that are discriminatory to other if you don't want to be told about it. Until then, get used to it, get over it, put the "Be" to the "Quiet", and move on.

  • Black people in politics place the "race card" way to much. Commenting on demographics is not racist, and they frame it as it is.

  • FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!

  • the admission by Monica Goodling that she only let Bush cronies be appointed as judges and other positions makes it very obvious what happened here. Republicans think like Nazis. They disregard law and common sense if it is to what they believe is to their advantage on a daily basis.

They have nothing to show in the last 7 years except for making oil companies and defense contractors very very rich while the rest of the country has gone down the tube

  • seems that mr. tanner should be replaced, not because of the original furor about his stating a few lamentable facts, but because of his overall poor record. it is sad that the original furor was unfair, but good, finally, that since then mr. tanner has proven to be deadwood, and ready to be replaced. when i saw the first clip of mr. tanner's remarks, it was quite unclear that he was ready to go. since then, better information has been developed.
