Singers like this usually have an awesome history. From the days of Browning, Ky. to Chicago's Bars these guys developed the perfect rhythm, harmony, and voices. GREAT!

@oldermusiclover most likely a studio drummer on record. On Alma Cogan Show clip performing song live, Buddy Holly's Crickets were playing behind them, which should be Waylon Jennings on drums. It's listed here, but on original clip all four songs were done as a set. Now they are split.

I'm turning 20 in October, and the 1960s will always be the best decade of music ever. Great song!!! You know, I love my life, and I'm happy, but I wish I could overlook the 1960s until now, just to see everything from before the Beatles until today. I missed so many great songs and the true glory days of music. Now kids today are listening to Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and the Jonas Brothers without a clue of this great music.

Beyond timeless. Monumental arrangement and above all melody, simple yet complex. It really flows........... These guys and the producers really hit this one way out of the ballpark - it's still going............. Ought to play it on the radio............., fat chance these days. It's okay to love this music. I loved it when I was 15 and I am now 66. My kids and grandkids love the music I grew up with (although they like their stuff too which I don't get at all!!). I like to hear the words.

When I was about 7 or 8 I used to play Everly Brothers 78 records (amongst others) on me grandad's old record player. 78's are so brittle, I dropped Wake Up Little Suzie and it shattered, and I was mortified. I live and breathe music...

Great music is great music, whether it was written the year you were born, 20 years after, 20,30,40 years before...Thanks for appreciating the Everlys! One of the greatest ever. The Beatles thought so, used the same harmonies when they sang harmony.
