  • The cavemen won xD

  • It would be the worst way to die; right when you start to see bacon. XDDDDD

  • SPOILER ALERT: Rome wins XDDD

  • "Oh...... bacon."

    -Clayton Carmine

  • LOL when the battle started he shouldeve smelled the bacon xD

  • Looks like dinner is ready

  • they routed really easily

  • Rome wins!

    (Rome also loses in this)

Gee, I never would have guessed it at the slightest in this battle's context, as it were.

  • some poor calvary for the enemy, but then HOLY SHIT BURNING PIGS RUUUN!

  • i hate those idiots that doesnt upgrade their units

  • @victinhoemn why? you can easilly destroy them

  • @sevevouga its because i dont like to play with idiots and dumb retards

  • lol great vid i wasn't expecting the charge of mass pigs,

  • Victory and roast pig :))

  • Is it wrong that when the pigs rushed in, I immeadiately thought of cops stopping a huge gang fight? XD lol, but awesome win. You are an amazing stretegist :).

  • lmao pigs to the rescue!

  • It's the day that pigs are heros.

  • Lol thought u had an all infantry army...

  • Lol loved the pig attack!

  • lol pigs

  • who won did pom

  • so many rome vs rome battles XD

  • hi all! I just have a question , did the romans rlly use pigs in war? and against elephants?

  • Who knew makin' bacon could give someone a big hand in a battle?!?!

  • Who wants a victory pig roast?

    \

  • Dismounted pig trainer. Pretty grim sight.

    True heroes

  • To win this battle POM had to sacrifice dinner.

  • hhahahahaha BURNINGS PIGS!!!! AHHHH RUN

  • That was hilarious!

  • never thought i'd see the day when pigs would be a trump card. bravo

  • The Romans used the burning pigs against Hannibal's war elephants to great effect, I believe they were key in winning a particular battle, can't remember which one though. Once those elephants are routed, they cause a lot of damage.

  • nice :)

  • haha

"when he started he should have smelled the bacon xDDD hilarious!"

    your very funny Prince

  • Did someone just think one day "Hey, what if I light some pigs on fire and make them run at the enemy soldiers?! Burning pigs shall save the day!"

  • Lol wow Prince. Incendiary pigs?

  • burning pigs! yeah! baddass!

  • .......................how the hell did u swing that:? ah the constant chasing means archers cant fire, interesting. i hate it when my units get ground down by archers

  • Nice pigs, rofl @ the trees, no offence but they are flat :) nice work dude i love u :)

  • O_o This is the first time I've ever seen anyone use pigs.... I think it would be pretty cool to see pigs fighting other pigs. lol.

  • love the sneakky pigs! ahaararararhar

  • dismounted pig trainers look awesome

  • nice pig attack love it!!!!!!!!

  • hidden piggeys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • now the missle units are in good position

  • Lol hidden cavalry pigs! They saved the day this time. Hahah excellent battle.

  • Yeah, those hidden pigs were quite demoralizing when they appeared lol

  • Quality>Quantity

  • Well, my opponent should've won with all of the archers that he had.

  • he definitely shouldve won lol

  • it's a good thing I have skill

  • a little to much XD

  • What game is this? ^_^

  • Rome Total War

  • ty ^_^ ill try download it and see if i can join in ;3

  • Well, you can't play it online without the CD-Key. You only get the CD-Key if you get the game in a box.

  • oooohhh crap ^_^

  • The game's cheap nowadays because it's so old. I got mine for like $15.

  • Awesome battle great joke with the "hidden calvary" lol

  • Thanks, man, glad you enjoyed =)

  • wat are pig trainers????

  • Just the people handling the pigs.

  • he seemed to make his army overpowered was it no rules? his army was so dumb was calvary and those fucken archers they even annoyed me lol

  • I forgot what the rules were. But my opponent set them.

  • what is the difference between legionary and urban cohorts?

  • Urbans kick more butt.

  • lmao burning pigs, i want this game so bad

  • Everyone wants to see Zuckerman's famous flaming pig lol

  • spam of archers lol. Your pro mate!

  • hehe glad you enjoyed, man =)

  • Just curious, your guys hardly ever seem to rout? Im curious if you plan the placement so they don't, or do you think you are just lucky? I have played a couple of online games (one close defeat and the others all D/C -_-) and it seems difficult to stop my men routing.

  • You have to see where the pressure's at, and relieve it if necessary to prevent your guys from routing. Sometimes, you can't stop it from happening, but you've got to try.

  • at first i was like "wheres his calvary or archers?" and i thought you would be boned cuz of the archers but then i heard "here come my hidden calvary" and i was like okay cool "6 units of incendinary pigs" me - "WTF"

  • Pigs for the win! =)

  • Wow, he could have used his archers a lot better. But I guess it's easy to see mistakes when your watching the game, rather than playing it.

  • wow from watching ur videos ur a REALLY good strategist. it's like all u need is plan, play, with a bit of luck

  • Thanks, man ;)

(Luck is always a factor in my battles)

  • It seems all the good generals used luck to win at least one battle.

  • they should have a special multiplayer map were u just build armys and fight but also conquer land like have a small island to conquer that way it wont take forever to control the land u know what im talking about?

  • Sort of like Age of Empires?

  • i geuss but without all the building and getting money just build ur army with money u get and conquer the small island but with massive armys

  • wat does spqr stand for ???

  • Senatus Populusque Romanus ('the Senate and the People of Rome').

  • good game if i had online i would like a fight against you (what i probably would lose in 4 mins or less :P)

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed man ;)

  • same

  • hmm by the way did u give the opponent advantage, because i think with 10,000 denarii u can afford s bit more legionaries

  • I was using pigs for my cavalry, and I had no archers whatsoever - do you really think I was going hardcore against him?

  • lol go piggies on fire

  • haha glad you enjoyed.

  • lol i was not expting pigs lol that was funny gd wach

  • Thanks, man, everyone loves pigs (especially eating them) lol

  • lol im pritty sure you could run it its not difficult even with that card=O im trying some new rts now but like one of them is buggy or something cuz i cant run it without it majorly laggin even though its graphics are pritty sad=O anoutehr i thought was free but i guess i dont get like any of the good stuff unless i buy the game for 20 bucks but is till can play as long as i want lol?

  • dude that was a cool fight man:)

    i have to say tho,

the type of army that u used was different that i have seen u use,

    but,

i like different:) u did a good job with the VERY limited type of ROMA army that u used:)

  • Thanks, man ;)

I always switch my armies just for fun - plus, I love fighting with handicaps (hence why I always use Macedon) lol

  • 7:40 haha, your commentary is awesome

  • lol thanks

  • How good are the onager crew, pig team, dog team, artillery teams?

Also, maybe you should have taken 1 or 2 units of dogs instead, unless it would have cost more or you for handicap reasons.

  • Dogs are WAY MORE effective than pigs. Dogs actually kill people. Pigs just catch on fire, and then run away.

  • OMG lmao PIGS! you sneaky fuka!

  • I did not overly admire your last few battles, but this one is really nice. Thanks for sharing.

  • yeah id have to agree lol some the oens you had recently have been against some pritty big newbs lol this is the first really old school prince one ive seen in awhile where you overcame being on the short end of the stick=) nice job! but you should really pick up cod4 and play with me or i got couple good free rts games you can play=O

  • Just remember: I don't call my opponents "newbs."

Anyway, I doubt my PC can run COD4. I'm using a GeForce 6200, and I can't upgrade any higher.

Anyway, glad you liked the pigs ;)

  • Awesome battle Prince.

Who would have known that burning pigs could swing the favour of battle. lol

Was cool how u kept this a secret from us until they finaly came, making it even more thrilling. :D

  • Thanks, mate ;)

I didn't want to ruin the pig surprise for anyone lol

  • mmmm.....bacon...istead of running away from them i would have tried to catch and eat one....lol

  • You don't want to eat bacon when it's still steaming lol

  • should of smelt the bacon

    haha

  • indeed ;)

  • I'm just gonna get this game prince! but I think I can win. seen all of youer battles!

  • Nice, next battle please make it be against a famous clan player, Someone from Coh or Gotw so Sith, it is much much more fun to see tight battles that clear victories agains guys that spam archers. Nice game

  • Teo, I have a few more battles against 'famous' clanplayers, but they aren't close.

Also, you really didn't find it interesting that I beat someone who had archer spam when I was using a rush army? (not to mention the fact that I won the battle because of my pigs)

  • Ok, I made a mistake. Yes, I have quite a number of close battles against clanplayers, but I don't post all of my battles.

I'm the most open-book player out there (meaning everyone can access my strategy/tactics from viewing my many battles). If I show every single battle, then I will retire from R:TW completely.

  • Yes, I understand you but, there are many "good" players that say that you are not so good, and you only play noobs, and i would like to show them some of your good vids

  • I've beaten many people from many clans. And you already saw my highlights against {AoE}Zeke, right? Zeke is hailed as one of the best low money players online.

I don't like this path you're following. It seems like you're falling in with the clan-crowd.

Gaz and Jomen were also saying the kind of crap you're repeating, and I stuffed both of those losers in a garbage can. I have nothing to prove to these people who always gossip (even when I beat their best).

  • I am not falling with the clan-crowd, I am on your side, but it's just that I don't like them to talk bad about you.

I like your videos, I don't want you to understand something else...

    Sorry about this...

  • have you played VikingX yet? He is also very good at 10K

  • Nope, haven't played him.

  • I would not reccomend playing VikingX. I joined one of his battles and just as I was about to win he left and terminated the battle.

Shame because he seemed like a nice person when i was chatting to him in the troop deployment section

  • that must have been an accident, he never did that to me

  • I do not see how you can acciently terminate a battle because you have to press esc, click on quit battle and then yes. I do agree that he is very good at 10k battles.

  • Nice Battle.. You Seem to be using reduced graffic quallity to your units but you have the grass effect turned on.. grass is more demanding to your VGA than the units though.. They may also have legs like "pins" because you have turned off the unit shader effect... (they seem rectangular)

  • I'm using the same graphic settings that I always use ;)

  • All inf army, do you know what unit haves more morale decreasing The pigs or the germanic screechers?

  • haha is that a joke? Pigs don't do squat. They only affect elephants, but most of the time, they even screw that up.

  • POM is my hero :D Lovely battle

  • Thanks, man - I'm glad you liked this one =)

  • Great battle!

  • Thanks ;)

  • I KNEW IT!

I knew you had some cavalry left!

Not that it would be pigs but still :D

    Great battle!

  • Never underestimate the shock value of pigs ;)

  • lol nice 8-)

  • Thanks, Leeham =)

  • I think Prince's opponnet was too fixated on his original idea of sitting on the height and waiting for PoM to come to him. When PoM started manoeuvring his units around the flanks, the SPQR player just let them - the result was that in each isolated pocket of action PoM had the height advantage against some of their enemy. Ideally, though, the SPQR player would have charged down the hill once the Brutii legionaries halted on loose-formation right in front of them to use their pila.

  • I WISH my opponent would've charged down at me. That would've made my battle a lot easier.

I tried tempting him down, but he wouldn't take the bait. My opponent was wise to get me to attack him.

  • You wanted him to charge into loose-formation infantry with a height-advantage?

  • You should already know how fast my reflexes are, Cluny. If he would've charged down, I would've instantly switched to tight formation.

Almost all of my deaths came when I outflanked my opponent. If you recall, my opponent had 8 archers. Outflanking him meant that I was exposed to rear-shots from his archers for 3-4 minutes which almost costed me the game.

If my opponent charged down, I would've eaten his Urbans alive since he wouldn't have archer support until he could reposition them.

  • You make a good point about the positioning of his archers, indeed. Though I have noticed that it takes a couple of seconds for legionaries to come out of their pre-firing pila-holding animation before they will respond to any new orders, such as to close up.

  • That's fine because his Legionaries were also in their "pre-firing pila-holding animation."

Just remember: since I'm comfortable using pike troops, I'm accustomed to responding with quick micro to compensate for my slower troops. So whenever I use Rome, I feel very spoiled by how fast the legionnaires move.

  • In fact, I think the SPQR player had made two terrible mistakes. First, he didn't fully exploit the trees to his left in deploying his archers. Second, his cavalries could do a lot better if he could be more patient to probe and attack the weak points instead of charging head-on into your upgraded infantries like this.

  • "Terrible mistake?" He had 8 archers on high ground, and I had no archers. There was no need for deploying in the woods. Also, my opponent finally did launch some hammer & anvil on me properly towards the middle.

I think it's funny that people are looking for excuses for why my opponent lost. Don't you see how ironic it is that I won with no archers, no cavalry, a hill disadvantage, and an overall stupid army? If my opponent would've won, you'd be saying how I made the "terrible mistakes."

  • Haha~ sorry for making you think this way. However, I mean no offense and was not looking for excuses for your opponent's lost.

You are a great general, and people always can't help imagining themselves as being a great general's opponent under different circumstances. I think you could understand the difference between fighting with a strong opponent and a weak one. It is interesting and is a damn good exercise for the brain.

  • You're making the same mistake that many of the great (and not-so-great) clan players made: they watched my videos, and they immediately assumed they could do better. But there's a big difference between playing a battle for yourself and watching someone else do it.

Also, if you recall, once I committed to the attack on his infantry, I was already vulnerable to the worst kind of missile fire from the rear. I was already surrounded by his archers, and I already diverted infantry to attack them

  • Nah~ I doubt I could do better if I were your opponent in a real battle. Well, I do understand that the real-time subjectivity and the emergent judgement made when being "the first person" in a battle are completely different from being an objective spectator (like me, haha). I admit that I am exploiting the benefit of hindsight. And the immediate assumption for how I could do better is just for fun ~ Afterall, this is what games are for, isn't it?

  • And by deploying the archers in the woods, they could cut you troops into pieces from the left and divert your infantry's attention, allowing the cavalries the possibility of having more weak points to exploit. Your pig cavalry is a painful surprise which I really don't know how to deal with.

  • woo~ this is the first time I see so much pig cavalries~ IoI

  • Yeah, I had to call out the big guns for this fight ;)

  • I have know one thing about romans, don't use archers. they don't do well on foot soldiers.

  • In unlimited money, archers are pretty weak. But in low money, Archers own hardcore. So whoever told you that about Romans, make sure you un-learn that.

  • hmmm, okey. did not know they where hardcore on low manye. thx on the info

  • great battle :D

  • Thanks, Santos =)

  • it's ok, but call me daniel i don't like santos :P

    lol

  • How about "DP?" lol

  • wow i never saw this before ^^

funny "DP" lol but still i prefer daniel ^^

  • Hope you enjoyed this one.

  • good macht and rome vs rome xD

its look not so good for you but you win the match

stay happy and good luck for your next movis

  • Thanks, man, glad you enjoyed it =)

  • lol nice battle prince, i loled so hard when the "cavalry" came out, at first i was thinking what the..... but do the pigs kill anyone? or are they just there to scare them?

  • The pigs only scare away elephants (but only sometimes). But the presence of them behind the enemy infantry caused them to think they were surrounded.

  • lol my jaw dropped when the "calvary" came out of nowwhere

  • The sight of the pigs was definitely frightening, eh? lol

  • i think ur opponent should sent out his infantry to hammer ur legion cohort first and then use his 6 cavalry to hit ur being punned down legionary cohort not the urban cohort and then his archers should concentrate firing on the urban cohorts...i mean that is what i will do

anyway prince of macedon this is another one of your brilliant tactic video, awesome!!

  • Glad you enjoyed.

  • is the roman testudo formation usefull? because whenever my legionaries are being barraged by arrows, i always ordered them to charge towards their tormentor istead of forming a testudo formation

  • Testudo is pretty worthless against a human opponent.

  • The pigs were an excellent idea to rout the enemy. Though it was very funny, it was VERY useful. Nice win too. I really did think that you were going to lose this one considering you only and infintry, you're enemy had like 8 legions of archers and the fact that he sent 1400 men out while you had 600!!!

  • Yeah, I was mainly worried about his 8 units of archers ;)

  • lol awsome bacon attack but the trainers uhh arent that tough lol

  • Nah, man, they're elite pigmen ;)

  • lmfao... I lolld so hard when your pigs attacked :D And woah... 600 to 1400? Brah, you raped him open.

  • Well, I wouldn't call it "rape," but it was a fun game ;)

  • '... Pour it on me thickly...'

    THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID! :D

Sorry... that's all I thought of when you said that when GeneralWildcat started to shoot at you... lmfao

  • You should've seen the time where my opponent got me from behind...

  • mmm. . . bacon

  • Yum, it goes great with eggs...
