I watched your video of your dad's set up - really interesting. I have the same watts but cant power a microwave or fridge or anything like that. Can you explain the supercapacitor that your dad was talking about? Ive done lots of searches but cant track that down.
- You will have hot water for longer (1 to 4 days depends on use) (without a fire /Elec)
- You find the water will heat quicker without loss when being heated
- Under Electric heating Will use less power to top up the water temp due the heat source isn't heating from cold each time (less time to reheat water that's loss very little temp)
@hitechguy18 I thank you for your input and i do agree and disagree, though the insulation jacket will make the system more efficient it will lose its heat radiation which is quite a bonus in the winter months when my dad is gone all day as his stove does not hold a fire for long, aswell there is no and will be no electric heater added as power is at a minimum, but there is a hotwater solar panel and heat exchanger being installed so that should balance it out, may then insulate the tank
I like your solar setup and the capicator you have is very interesting. I live a stone's throw from my late grandparents' home. They also had a well and we used to draw water up through the floor of the porch. I didn't have one dug here but I wish I had. Thanks for the great vid and keep up the good work.
Love the system you may be ahillbilly but your a smart one. Im too stupid to spend the money on top of the line batteries. once again great video and great set up! Check out my videos CHEERS WINDY NC
I would like to know more about the capacitors you are using.. Thanks for sharing

Improvement Suggestions :
Hot Water tank could do with a Insulation jacket
The benefits
- You will have hot water for longer (1 to 4 days depends on use) (without a fire /Elec)
- You find the water will heat quicker without loss when being heated
- Under Electric heating Will use less power to top up the water temp due the heat source isn't heating from cold each time (less time to reheat water that's loss very little temp)
- 24/7 Hot Water on Tap
