Great tutorial. Only criticism is that the strings are backwards. The lightest gauge string, High E, is the FIRST string. Followed by 2nd string (B), 3rd (G), 4th (D), 5th (A) and finally 6th (Low E). Also, as a fingerpicker myself, it's easier to use the index and second fingers of the right hand for the fancy pattern.

Two fingers is right, but the pattern is not right... look for mjsokes on YouTube to see how it is done. I thought he was nuts at first, but if you watch McCartney play...

dude you know this is i think maybe the best tutorial that i ever had i really learn step by step how to do it, but just one thing...your counting the strings wrong cuz it is start with the bottom string that means thats the 1st string ( when i was not looking the screem i got confused LOL) , but besides that GREAT TUTORIAL !

This could be good but needs more polish. Maybe someone to help with the camera work. Strings are anotated so 6E 5A 4D 3G 2B 1E. Getting the right information is of paramount importance. There are now peope who, although they can play Blackbird, will have to relearn the string names before they can learn from anyone else.

the a string is not the second string , the b string is not the fifth string. try teaching by giving us the string name, if someone doesnt know what the a string is, they cant play this song anyway.

To let you know the g string is the 3rd string not the 4th string the high e is the 1st then the b is the second going all the way up till you get to the low E which is the sixth....... no hate

@Shushnplayfair thank you! =)  "let it be" is really straightforward if you just play the chords, and it's only a few chords so it doesn't make much sense for me to do a video of it. But I might do "Imagine" at some point, because a simple little plucking pattern makes it sound really cool on guitar.

His style of picking is wrong.. Try plucking.. or lightly strumming both open g string and the high B which is the second string 12 fret.. and pluck the bass note G on the 5th string for every beat .. which is everytime you tap your feet.. i don't want to belittle him.. he did a good job but the style of strumming the counterpoints is horrible.. I should be able to put up a video on how to pluck tonight..

type in blackbird and andrew dubrock and search for that he plays it as right on as I've heard. when the beatles went to india and learned finger picking they couldn't get it right on so they strummed for a few notes instead of finger picking. some guy at the beach brought this to my attention when I played it for him and he definitely was right
