When I was a kid, I was terrified of dark rooms. My dad encouraged me to go and get him some stuff from a kitchen with the lights off on purpose. He'd tease me when I was frightened, and congratuate me each time I returned with his newspaper or bottle of drink.

Today I love to drive alone by night, specially those dark and isolated mountain roads.
